It is an oldie but a goody. Its not modern, which is part of the charm. Large rooms, excellent attentive staff. Close and handy to everything required of Jonker St and the River. Has a restaurant with a variety of dishes for breakfast.

This hotel was very close to everything , little india, china town , retsaurants and the waterway. The room was quite big, comfortable and clean. The breakafast was so so. Close to jonker street and lots of restaurants .

Pleasant place, relatively clean and quiet, away from the main roads, close to everything. Places of interest within walking distance which is convenient. Inexpensive, nice hawker food nearby especially breakfast, lunch etc can be had close by. Jonker Street is within walking distance and close to the river side.

The hotel from the exterior looked really grand. The room was quite big in size and the hotel reception staff were nice enough. We (husband, two teenage children and I) arrived an hour early and were directed to the note that they didn’t have early check-ins. The doorman was nice and gave us an umbrella as it was raining when we were going out. However, the bathroom was not very clean with rotting shower screen because of most likely poor cleaning. The towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were brown in colour and stained. Unfortunately, we had to use these as there was no other option, felt unclean after shower. The corridor had a musty odour which was overpowering. Stayed two nights and had put up a door sign to have the room cleaned but no one came around and we were out all day. Bottled water was given on the first day but not on the subsequent day. I’m glad we only stayed two nights as couldn’t have tolerated the place for any longer.…

The rooms were big. No cafe for drinks. comfortable and clean stay. Away from the buzzing noisy jonker street and still within walking distance. Good if u are visiting alot in the day and going to hotel to sleep. Low floors with no view.

The hotel is located very close to Little India , China town , jonker market. The room is great. Shower but not the washroom. We struggled taking shower on a jacuzzi which is out of order. It is slippery and not convenient at all taking shower on a jacuzzi.The hotel management should look into these and have a proper shower room. The corridor has a very stale smell.. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay.

Upon Arrival/Departure - Check in/out was hassle free & smooth - The staff was very kind, friendly & helpful. Room - Size was reasonable 10/10 - Cleanliness 6/10 - Bed comfortability 6.5/10 - Bed & linens cleanliness 6/10 - Bed sheet has black doted stains, linens has a smell - No Safe available in the room - Basic toiletries are available in the room (eg: Shampoo, condition, body wash & etc ...) - Towels are available & changeable upon make up room - Bathroom curtain was mouldy - No hot shower but slightly warm shower in the room that I stayed - Water pressure wasn’t strong - Coffee is available in the room - WiFi is available throughout the hotel but is lacking - The whole corridor from the lifts leadings be the rooms was hot or rather warm with no air-con 📝: The room we stayed was a Superior Family Suite 🌟 Important Note: - The distant between Jonker Walk & the hotel is abt 450m - 6mins via walking or 650m - 4mins via car - This hotel offers free parking within it’s compound - Do remembered to collect the exit card from the front desk each time you plan to drive out - Front desk operate 24hrs Summary - The staffs are very warm, polite helpful & friendly. Prices was attractive but hotel was undergoing renovation. Work in progress even till after 9pm. Was stuck waiting for the only lift in operation during checkout as they are moving furniture for renovation. Big rooms with large size bed, clean n comfy Walking distance to Jonker Free secured parking which is a plus point Big jacuzzi Hope after the renovations will be better.

Booked executive suite with bathtub back on 15/4/2019 and got downgraded to deluxe double with bathtub because the original room was faulty. They promised a refund but none was given. Very dissapointing .
