Brand New Hotel - Had a wonderful stay - Everything was perfect and impeccable staff. Wonderful selection of Pillows with their Pillow Menu. Great location and walking to many restaurants and food places. Only comment was for the Management to look into turning on the parking lights in Level 5 & 6 of the multistory car park. When we stayed 2 nights only Level 7 of the parking was lighted. Aside from this everything was perfect.

This is a relatively new hotel and there are still many teething problems. For example, the staffs did not call me after I have booked a morning call with them. At the same time, the auto morning call system wasn't working. Luckily I set me own alarm to wake me up too or else I would have missed my appointment.

Though we didn't stay, we chose to celebrate mum's birthday at Courtyard Cafe. The food was excellent! From starters to dessert. The highlights are soup ekor, laksa, rib eye, korean chicken wings. Malacca a a historical city dated back to Malay sultanate in 14th century, through to Portuguese, Dutch & British rule prior to independence. Malacca has indeed changed a lot since my previous visit. Courtyard is a new hotel in town, just started in Apr 2023. It is situated close to Jonker Street, near good restaurants and interesting place to visit.

Efficient check-in process, with a thorough explanation of my lifetime Platinum benefits, including complimentary breakfast and a welcome amenity option. I opted for the USD 20 daily credit. Our room, 2320, exceeds expectations despite the lack of a suite upgrade. The spacious room boasts a comfortable bed, and a nice view of the Melaka Strait. We even came close to oversleeping the breakfast – a delightful twist for an early riser like myself! The staff's friendliness was outstanding, with a special acknowledgment for Amir at the 1939 lounge, who truly understands the art of running a bar. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering an array of choices in a pleasant setting. We love the pool area furnished with an abundance of sun loungers and chairs - an ideal environment for our combined work and leisure purposes. This mid-range property excels in value and quality. It's important to keep in mind that it belongs to the Courtyard brand, not the opulence of a St. Regis. This property, especially as a Platinum member, unquestionably delivers value for money. What stood out for us were all the staff we interacted with at the hotel during our very recent stay. From check-in/reception (Natasha and Putera), concierge, restaurant (breakfast team), 1939 lounge on Saturday evening (22/07) and housekeeping (sorry I don't have everyone's names). Everyone was friendly, helpful and always had a smile to greet us. The stay would have been a perfect 10 if there was a rooftop bar / lounge to order f&b as we spent quite a bit of time up there relaxing. However having said this, the pool was not crowded / heavily utilized hence it may have not made economical sense for the property to set up one for now. Perhaps in due course. All in all, we had a memorable, relaxing stay and will be returning again very very soon in early August.

As expected, the staff, the room, the breakfast and everything is just perfect. Never regret staying at Marriot hotel. The view is just awesome during night time. The facility quite nice with the view. Those who give bad review, there don't know how to appreciate their stay, if so much complaint, stay at home only. Pfft. All i can say is 10/10 . I will recommend it to my friends and family.
