Abosolutely not worth the money spent. Check in and check out took ages, just one staff behind the check out counter. Leaking washrooms, stained tiles. The experience with In room dining was even worse, i ordered soft boiled vegetable soup without salt for my 11 month old son, 1st they took 45 mins to get the soup which was just with salt and the replacement took another 1 hr and this time the veges wer hardly boiled, leave being soft boiled. The F&B manager was extremely apologetic and promised to refund the money in the card, as the hotel is a cashless property. Lets hope that happens, because the manager said it will take 25 days before it gets credited back. Overall, you will find better properties for a better price den hatten.

The room, the food, the facilities, the staffs are remarkably fantastic. Been repeating to stay in Hatten when visiting Malacca since 2018. One Stop Centre to Malacca Attraction Centre. They provide hi tea on daily basis from 330pm to 530pm for guest staying in Premier rooms

We booked the executive deluxe room. The room was spacious and very clean! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the room. The hotel has great location as well. As many of the nearby roads are a one-way street, it is better to walk around the main heritage sites and attractions. We really liked that this hotel is just a walking distance to Jonker Street, Melaka River Cruise, Uptown Pahlawan walk and the Dataran malls! Hotel breakfast was delicious as well. The Nasi Lemak and Beef Rendang were scrumptious. A good hotel to stay with your families.

Staying here for a meeting.. Room cleanliness average.. I was disappointed with the dinner at Chatterz.. We went in at 8pm and the food was empty! I went to ask the hostess standing at the reception what time is the dinner close? They said 10pm..10pm and no food replenishment?? I saw few guest went off after looking at the empty buffet line. Nobody bother to replenish and busy clearing the tables... The food taste was also lousy!

I stayed at this hotel end june and booked via the hotel website.. upon checked in.. I requested to make payment by another card instead of the registered ones with the hotel.. everything processed smoothly .. then I received my credit card bills.. shocked to see that the hotel charged me in both card.. I called and provided all the documents as proof of double charging.. the service staff told me transferred to finance dept.. and I sent multiple emails on any updates.. nobody replied and totally ignored me.. No intention to refund the double charging to me.. I called the property again.. told me called finance myself .. until now no news.. even with the multiple emails.. no reply.. I think my money is gone .. they are cheating my money even with my multiple emails with total ignoring … I feel so helpless and can only pray hard for them to return me the money..so choose a better honest hotel!!! Don’t have to go through what I am going through now.. …

We choose a family suite which was 3 rooms interconnected with main central room a lounge. Great views from 19th floor but no balconies. 3 toilets, bath, 2 showers and perfect for a family of 4. Breakfast included and was very local with curries . It’s like a 90s style 5 star aged to become a 4 star now although very clean and beds comfy. Pool area a bit worn but pool itself good. Spa good and huge. Extremely good value and right in main area near river and restaurants and bars

We have booked a two nights stay in this hotel and I have satisfied with their service as their check-in and check-out process goes through fast even there are many peoples in the lobby. The Indian woman, Room Controller is very informative about the hotel and their rooms. Housekeeping cleanliness is very neat. Engineering shah is on time when I complained that the telephone in the room is not working and he fixed it in such a quicker time. Next up, Alto is the gem as their staffs are too friendly. There are few names to be picked up from the group whom are Alif, Amanda, Sofia, Yuvan whom made our vacation better. It is my wife’s birthday, and these guys made it special by delivering the cake to the table by singing the birthday song. Hopefully will meet them again on my next visit. Chatterz, the breakfast restaurant staffs needs to put some pleasant smile on their face when welcoming guests. Overall the food is good. Hopefully next visit going to be awesome like this. Hatten Hotel is rated a 5* Outlet and a POPULAR Hotel by Locals and Overseas guests. The location is Very good, right in City Centre, with Many Shopping malls, Restaurants. Fast food outlets...around. The hotel's HATTEN SQUARE Mall has many Good shops. F&D outlets ! Most of Tourists Sights are Near !! The location is great for a 3-night visit as there are plenty of museums within 1.5km radius. The walk to Jonker Walk would have taken less than 10 minutes had I not stopped multiple times to take pictures of the surrounding area. Shopping malls are 5-min away. A self-service laundromat is 3 blocks away, which is also in the same building as the 23-hour mamak restaurant called Madina. The hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel but good enough and clean enough for our stay. What I like most is the hospitality of the hotel staff. None of them was moody or rude when dealing with us. I asked a lot of questions and they were all patiently explained. Breakfast spread was mediocre but there’s an overpriced Kopitiam at the lobby that opens early, a 7-11 next to it if you want something cheaper. …

1. Swimming pool wooden deck was in bad shape / not well maintained. There were missing tiles in the pool which make the edges sharp. The mats outside the pool is very hard and rough. Kids need to be very careful. 2. Room on 18th floor was in bad shape - refer to photos. Shower head holder couldn’t hold the shower head. 3. Air con vents are dusty. 4. Carpets at the main lobby were stained. 5. Security is low. No need to use key card to access your room floor. They used to have security at the main lobby. Now they don’t. 6. Air con works well. 7. Service was decent. 8. Breakfast was average.
