We just spent 4 nights here and the hotel exceeded our expectations considerably. Rooms are not large but spacious enough. Enough work area for both my wife and I to do some computer work while here. It's very well located on a quiet street. Very spacious and tastefully done and super clean -- a classic Nonya house but modernized inside...

Stayed for a night in a quad room on a Sunday night. Room is spacious that comes with a standard amenities. Quite disappointed with the room cos it does not match the exterior and deco of the hotel. There is no lift in the hotel so do not bring many luggage. Breakfast variety is ok for the price. One good...

Excellent hotel, preserved as it were. Step in and marvel at the timber construction. Step out and marvel at the mansion opposite the hotel. Jonker walk is just around the corner. Local asam pedas is only 5min walk.

This hotel is different and rather attractive, built as it is, in the Chinese style, around a series of courtyards - not surprising, because is once was the home of a wealthy merchant. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Ours had a pleasant outlook from the small balcony down to an attractive courtyard. Good use is made of these...

We had a lovely time at the Hotel Puri. Granted the 1st night, in a room very close to the kitchen, was not great but the really co-operative staff moved us to one that was, although smaller, a much quieter and lovely room overlooking the rooftops of Melaka's Chinatown. "Room with a View" in Asia. While the majority of the...

Stayed at Hotel Puri on Saturday night in room 316 and experienced a thoroughly average stay. Am aware that this is only a budget hotel however I have stayed at backpackers of better quality! My major bug bears were: 1. Paper thin walls. Be prepared to hear everything your neighbour is doing - shower, tv, conversation... and also the maintenance...

Hotel Puri is a big concern - its small entrance is not indicative of its 70+ rooms, spa & numerous lovely courtyards. I didn' realise how big the hotel is; group tours will stay here (as a group did during my stay recently). I probably would've preferred a smaller establishment but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I booked a...

Sweetest little hotel in a beautifully restored old house. My husband and I purchased a Golf Package ( so he could play golf!) and I availed myself of a lovely spa session instead. On his return from a golf game on a course next to where monkeys live, it was obvious he had been smoking. His story was that the...

A very clean and unique hotel with the few baby swiftlets inside one of the hall and you could see mother bird come back from hunting food to feed the baby. The management also put out a part of Malaysia history in one of the room for visitor to read. To me this is very thoughtful 'coze they have put...
