We are a small, nice and cozy guest house located in the heart of the historical city of Melaka. Located along the historic Melaka river with stunning views of the river and only a short distance away from historical sites and popular eateries. All of our rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned and comes with hot shower. Free internet access for guests is provided.
Love the spacious room and lounge area. Have to be ready for some noises as the building is old building that keep the feature of old houses, the floor of first floor is made of wood! But this was how I grew up! Ideal location as can walk to town in short distance. Enjoyable outside and inside guest house

The downstairs lounging area overlooking the river is wonderful. Teh Terek/White Coffee/Milo drink machine was used frequently. Hot tea and coffee available 24 hours a day. The room is basic but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The rain shower was perfect after a day of exploring and the AC kept the room cool. Wifi worked well and all rooms are non-smoking. Room was kept very clean. Make sure you request that the room be cleaned each day. Great restaurant recommendations on their map. We paid RM20 to get a taxi from the bus station. We have already recommended this place to others we have met on our trip. Would definitely stay there again.

The guest house is a family run unit and feels really homely and comfortable. The room we had was large and had views to the river and the church. The walls though are a tad thin and you can hear your fellow guest. Noise from the bar downstairs is also a bit of a problem if you are a light or early sleeper. But it still has the local flavor which makes it special.

This is the 3rd time am staying with Wayfarer but the 1st time I booked the Trader Suite which is a spacious duplex with a king bed on the 1st floor and 2 singles on the loft. Stayed for 2 nights with my mum and my boy. Room is clean and very spacious. Coffee/tea making facilities provided though at the lobby the same are provided round the clock. Bed is very comfortable and more than sufficient pillows were provided. The toilet is very clean and the water pressure is very good. We totally love the rain shower. The owners are very friendly and offered recommendations regarding food and massage. Security is good and we feel safe when walking back at night from Jonker Walk. Last but not least, the location is unbeatable. Just a stone's throw from the main Jonker Walk. …

Wayfarer Guest House is located on Lorong Hang Jebat, which is a convienient location to most tourist sites in Meleka. The owner, Lian, was friendly and helpful, providing recommendations of local places to eat at. The rooms were clean and cosy. The price was reasonable. If you are a cat lover, there is a cute stray cat that comes in daily to sleep on the ground level of the guest house. It doesn't bother anyone and spends most of the day sleeping in a corner.

I" This is it", I thought, It is what conjurers up in the mind when you think of exotic Malaka.Wooden floors lead onto French shutters doors that open onto the balcony, that over looks the clean river, [only saw one empty plastic bottle on the river in 6 days.] Sit out and gaze down on the meandering tourists, grazing at the many eateries below. The renovations are honest to history. The rooms have generous space, crisp sheets on monster sized beds, ensuite perfect, and not a mosquito in sight. Glass door to the balcony ensure a quiet night. Tea /coffer with biscuits and loungee downstairs, plus a fridge for drink, Leanne will look after all your requests. There are two water front rooms, The Artist Room and The Writers room, which I would recommend for the atmosphere. Other…

I have been here last Sunday (April 30th 2017) for holiday with my husband. This is my first time to stay in this awesome place. I spent in room no 6 and it is surely a very nice room. Very big room and cozy view! The location of this guest house is also very good. It takes only 5 minutes walk to jongker walk. The host is also the best! Very nice, polite and well information. I surely will come again and stay here if I go to Melaka again someday. Very rocommended place to stay!

My wife booked 2 rooms, with one over looking the Melaka river for our Australian friends from Melbourne whilst the other over looked the inner courtyard. Both the rooms are clean and delightfully decorated with old Melaka charm. The guest house is efficiently runner by Ms Lian who is friendly, helpful and assured us of good security. The ground floor common space very very spacious again with old charm n endless flow of tea and coffee. A piano provided guests with light evening entertainment.
