We are a small, nice and cozy guest house located in the heart of the historical city of Melaka. Located along the historic Melaka river with stunning views of the river and only a short distance away from historical sites and popular eateries. All of our rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned and comes with hot shower. Free internet access for guests is provided.
Hotel is located in joker street nearby heart of Malaca and you can walk along the river. Hotel provide free coffee machine and snacks. You can got information for host. When I checked in,I disappoint for there service because I come with my friends and staff( young man) did not help my friends(girls) bring their bags so we had to bring by ourselves. The room needs some maintenance but not a big deal.Overall I would like to recommend. If you would to come there for sentral station come by uber or grab is much cheaper than taxi not over 10 MYR.

Traditional shop house backing onto the river. Easy walking distance to all the sights. Our room (7) had a window overlooking the central courtyard good air-conditioning, comfy bed and clean. Nice to come back to escape the afternoon heat. Run by a very kind and helpful family. Would definitely recommend. Tip. Pop next door to enjoy an evening drink sitting by the river.

Booked this guesthouse to experience life beside the river. It did not disappoint! Except for the consistent engine from the river cruise and some bar music opposite, it was a pleasant stay. Ours was a basic room with a huge bed and interesting character. The owners tried to add comfort by providing self-service hot beverage, which enhanced the experience. We also understood from the interior design on the ground floor that the guesthouse might have been running a rubber plantation company in the past - the history enthusiast in me relished this piece of info!

We stayed four nights in the Artist's suite (room 6) and found the room spacious (32 sqm not including the bathroom). A lot of character which we seek over the hard impersonality of large hotel. Tastefully furnished and well appointed bathroom. Tea and coffee provided. The owners are gracious and friendly. You do feel welcome. Lastly the view from the balcony is what it is all about... the life on the river/canal goes on below you and you are the spectator. Some noise from the river can be heard in the room but the A/C can drown that out. You are in the heart of the old town and have a multitude of cafes to choose from ... China town one way and Little India the other. Great base to explore the sights and then retreat from the masses.

I spend one night in Wayfarer GH and I liked it. The owner is very friendly! The day I went to book the room she gave me a map of Melaka and some Peranakan candys!! The GH is big and is clean. My room with attached bathroom and aircon was also very clean and the bed really comfortable with a lot of pillows! The shower was awesome!! The location is also good. Near all the main attractions in Melaka and in front of the river! I just didnt like that the aircon in my room was a bit loud. And considering the big kitchen in the house they could offer breakfast! There was tea/coffee/ water always available though! I recomend Wayfarer GH.

With many variable type of rooms, you can choose to stay up to 5-6 people. Rooms are clean and tidy, great environment, and a great common area to chill out. Located along the Melaka River please book a room with balcony to enjoy to the maximum. No breakfast provided but all day long for local coffee, tea, and local biscuits. 1 limited parking lot in front of the hotel, but 3 mins walking to the public parking with only RM3 a day.

This is an old house renovated and done up tastefully. Has just a few rooms - not more than 15 perhaps. Located alongside the river with rear access to the promenade. We had a room on the top floor with a small sit out overlooking the river. Has no lifts. The rooms are tastefully done and are very neat and clean. There are no restaurants in the property tho there's a small pantry on the GF, where the guests can help themselves to coffee, tea, cookies, etc. Very centrally located and there are a number of food joints within walking distance. Very well priced and worth it if you aren't fussed about 5 star luxury.

Perfect location, interesting house, but other than that the place itself, as a guesthouse, fails to impress. While the river view rooms are certainly nice and worth the little extra (the guests staying there let me have a peek), other rooms are bare, perfunctorily decked out, and characterless, . One really feels that the place could have much more charm with a few touches here and there, but lack of attention to details (e.g. ugly plastic soap dispensers - one on the wall and another on the sink - in bathroom; only one dustbin [also ugly plastic] in the suite - so you have to either go to the bathroom every time you throw sth away, or move the bin to the room) makes this "family-run" place (as described on their website) decidedly lukewarm at best. Oh, and after a few hours of…

Located in Hang Jebat alley, by the riverside and only 500 m from Jonker Walk; this is the right area to stay if you visit Malaka. First impression, the interior has traditional Chinese touch, clean and feels very homey. Ground floor is reception area; sitting room with comfortable sofa, coffee corner; and mini cafe+bar. We can see the river through the traditional chinese folding gate at the backside. Very nice. We stayed at the Duplex Room #4 on the 2nd floor. Bathroom and storage room with big dining table on the lower deck and bedroom on the upper deck. The bedroom is an attic with low ceiling and no windows, it felt claustrophobic. Overall it was a great stay, I'd love to stay here again but definitely will choose another room that has windows and balcony.
