Pretty decent hotel for a short stay. The location is superb as it’s just next to the Malacca river and within a short walking distance to Jonker street. There’s also an eatery next door that serves really good meehoon kueh and coffee! The bed was super comfy for me, but the aircon takes awhile to cool the room. Room is not really soundproof but that’s not a huge concern for me as the surroundings were not noisy. No mini fridge in the deluxe room too. Stayed here for a night and will return again in my next trip to Malacca.

Very close proximity to riverside bars and Jonker walk night market. Smooth process during check in & check out Comfy bed. The balcony very huge and nice to relax.environment nice, comfortable room. I booked a table for dinner with my family in hotel restaurant. Good taste to try and enjoy the meal by the riverside.

The place was walking distance to jonker walk and dataran pahlawan and mahkota parade. The cafe was beside the river and the food and staff was very friendly. Especially the beer 1st glass only RM5(check in fans page).

What a nice place to take a rest! The receptionist is friendly and has patience to introduce attractions near the hotel. The hotel also provides parking spaces for guests; this is the type of hotel that has good qualities at an affordable price. Equipment in good condition. Therefore, I will choose this hotel as my next trip's accommodation in Malacca.

The hotel is showing signs of lack of maintenance probably brought about by the covid lockdown. Saying that, the hotel was comfortable and in a great location. We enjoyed our stay here and were lucky enough to get a parking spot outside. If you can, I would recommend a river view room, the bed we had was the biggest I have ever slept in. A recommended hotel.

We stayed there about 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This time we were glad that we only stayed one night. The hotel has new management and new staff - and it has not improved anything at all. Note that it is now a halal hotel and so with no alcohol available at all, the opportunity to sit on their lovely riverside terrace and enjoy the cool of the evening together with a drink has gone Sipping a soft drink is not the same! The rooms are still large and good bathrooms but parts of the hotel are looking tired, our room in parts could have been cleaner and I did not like what seemed to be black mould in our shower cubicle. Plus the new staff - certainly in and around the front reception - seem indifferent to guests. It would have been nice to have got a 'Welcome' on arrival and not just an enquiring look. Plus a 'Good Morning' is certainly not on their agenda. Not What It Was.…

We booked this hotel for the good position in the cultural heritage area and because the rooms have a decent balcony. The building itself is part of the Chinese heritage area so exploring the neighborhood is easy done by foot. Walking along the river on the backside of the hotel is very pleasant and it take you right into the historic centre. Loads of bars and restaurants around with a wide variety of local food. The rooms are very big but the hotel itself is in need of a renovation, the interior is worn out and furniture is outdated. The personnel is not really enthousiast, it is obvious that they don't care. The breakfast is better to take somewhere else, poor coffee and very basic choice of fixed menu. This hotel could be really better as it has good potential being inside the heritage area. Unfortunately the owner doesn't invest in making this an excellent stay. The cheap plastic seatings on their terrace on the river side doesn't really add to the experience either. This hotel definitely needs improvement, it is a pity for such a nice location. I would still recommend this hotel if your expectations of service and interior design is not too high.…

I looked for room of river view and booked on this hotel. I intended to reserve the best room on Agoda, but the room was narrower than I expected, and the balcony was a fence, so the view of the river was not so good. The location was very convenient as it was a walking garden in the tourist center. Because it was a weekday reservation, there was no other customers and the hotel itself was not lively. リバービューの部屋を探していてこのホテルに決めました。一番良い部屋を予約したつもりでしたが、部屋は思ったより狭く、バルコニーも柵が壁のため川の眺めはイマイチでした。ロケーションは観光中心地に徒歩園だったので非常に便利でした。平日予約だったため他のお客さんもいなくホテル自体に活気がなかった印象です。

Despite the awesome location and astonishing outlook of the hotel building, it's high time for a serious upkeep in this hotel internally. But we booked two rooms; one room was having a peeling and mossy wall, another was having bad smell. the furniture obviously worn out with stains visible in the bathroom/showers.
