We had a very good stay in this hotel. If you’re looking for a best budget hotel, this is the place to be. The hotel location is good, very near to famous landmarks in Malacca including malls & other establishments. Had a concern a bit on cleanliness, but overall, still ok. We had a free breakfast in our booking. Breakfast was served in buffet style, not so much on the menu but the foods are ok. This hotel is a value for money. Definitely will book this hotel again.

It is a 5-storey hotel (like typical motel building) unlike the usual high rise city hotels so don't expect panoramic views. I would rate it as in a "backwater" location (not the usual boulevard, or seafront), as one has to negotiate some back streets away from the main thoroughfare. Furnishing is dated: when the drawers or wardrobe doors wont slide or shut properly, it is a sign that it is in need of refurb. Wall is not papered so expect to see bad plaster work and stains. Carpet is not of high grade and sign of stains means maintenance is not up to par, especially the stained and debris on corridor carpet. They do not provide free bottled water but provide water dispenser at the corridor, which means the water provided in the mini bar is chargeable. Pluses: they provide covered and perimeter parking. It has a restaurant (but I have not patronised it to review). Bottom line: one may be better off elsewhere for the published rates they offer. …

Poor reception service , checkin around midnight. Not really friendly. The day of checkout i called for my lost and found and the evening shift staff said “can call tomorrow morning to verify”. Hello you are the under same team why not you ask your housekeeping team in the group either do you keep my lost and found ?

An old fashioned hotel but comfy. Near to Melaka Raya which is a plus point. A special mention about the cafe led by Ms. Teresa which are well run with a good spread for the room prices paid. Have been a regular patron

Room are spacious indeed but interior is old. Carpet not clean, old furniture and only have 1 office chair which is not practical if u travel with yr family. Furniture arrangement also seems to be off! TV channels are limited too. Other than that, location is good as it is near to Bandar Hilir. My family and I stayed in Room 1513, 1517 & 1527. Slamming of doors can be heard from the neighbouring units. Its really annoying at times. Having sound proof door can be a good choice if the hotel manager planning to renovate. Not a good choice if you are planning to stay for more than 1 night.

Firstly would like to state that this is the worse hotel I have been. When checked in....we requested to view the room first but they say that it is not their policy to allow guest to view the room before paying. So we paid ....and when we went to the room, the window can't close( we have to call the maintenance guy who is polite n efficient) and also the he air-conditioning is faulty. But he manage to solve the problem after an 1hrs. We slept uncomfortably cause the bed bugs. So in short it is supposed to be a relaxing day but turn out we are more stressed out than before.not recommend

We couldn't stay for more than one night. The bed and pillows were not comfortable, although the bathroom was nice. The breakfast was horrible. The staff were not genuinely friendly and for sure not professional at all.

Thank you Hallmark, we had the best stay. The rooms are huge and good breakfast. Big bath and toilet. They had this fantastic bidet for the toilet. Nice sofa to watch TV. Great seafood restaurant in walking distance. Great n friendly staff n sure will comeback. Ask for room 1520.

The first impression is always on who the receptionist is . There is this one guy Mr. Khalid , the most soft spoken and a wonderful person. Our stay at the hotel was from the 17th Nov to 19th Nov 2019. We had 2 rooms , one was upgraded to a big spacious room and the other normal. Both the rooms were clean spacious , with very clean and mordern bathrooms. The staff was very polite, and always ready to help . The breakfast was fairy good too and the staff wonderful as always. The swimming pool needed a slight cleaning especially the bottom of the pool, the water was crystal clear . I would rate this hotel 8.5 / 10 ......Mr & Mrs Dalip Singh
