ONE of the best food tasted in Malaysia / very clean place and service is good however need to precook for table as always quite full - the food was quite authentic and different from any other Malaysian or Chinese food

It was a nice and clean but basic hotel, it reminds me am old English hotel and smelt a bit like it. I enjoyed my stay but if you are looking for modern this is not it. They only have twin bed rooms and no doubles. Breakfast is a mixture of fruit, chicken nuggets and cake which I quite enjoyed!! Laundry messed up my washing so don’t bother sending anything to laundry my whites are now Grey. Two stars as it’s not awful but it’s not great. You get what you pay for.

Stayed 2 nights as part of tour. Ok for what it must have cost tour operator but wouldn't have stayed through choice. Other reviews referred to poor quality, grubby looking towels which managers vomment said would be changed (Jan '19)- they are no better now. Mould around sink covered partially in clear silicone. Mouldy grout but good shower. Sink counter top had large cracks.TV didn't work but didn't worry usAircon effective but thermostat and fan speed didn't work so did get too cool overnight. WiFi very iffy. Didn't work at all most of the time and very slow when it did. Staff very friendly, good location, strange but ok breakfast. No bar.

Stayed here during our recent visit last month. Price is ok pretty cheap. Location is near to town. We walked to Jonker, i think took us around 10 minutes from hotel but we do enjoy the walking with river view. Stay on 1st floor with newly renovated floor. Room is clean and extremely nice smell. I ask the guy (tall white guy) he said its lavender air freshener. Very nice smell. Front desk is very helpful. Just the wifi sometimes not working, but maybe due to high occupancy that day and we dont really mind as we do have our own cell line. Other than that, we do enjoy our stay and definitely will come back again because we love to dine in at their Samfu restaurant!
