I was able to book directly by e.mail. We had room A2, a lovely little room overlooking the river, nicely furnished. Very friendly, reasonable price, simple but good breakfast which included fresh fruits, great coffee and cooked breakfast. Right in the centre of main tourist area.

Went to Melaka for weekend getaway in which we forgot to book for our accommodation. Found this hotel on tripadvisor and straight away book for two nights. The owner was so nice and friendly. Nice room and highly recommended for those who are lazy to walk far from the main POI. Near to Stadhuys Building, Hard Rock Cafe, Jonker Walk...

I spent 2 nights in this hotel with my 12 year old son . It was a short holiday and the staff of this hotel made our holiday a memorable one. Location - historical sites , Jonker street ( food and mementos) , Hard rock cafe , museums, malls are all within walking distance. Rooms - although there is traffic...

The place was cute at first glance, but the room was expensive, and run down, holes in plaster, broken tiles in bathroom. Water leaks from the upstairs room woke us up at night three times. It wet the clothes and papers I had put in our cupboard. The restaurant could not serve the advertised dish I requested, and when it...

A new management took over Heeren House in September 2015 and we have totally restored the guesthouse and café to its old glory. We assure you that we have eradicated the bed bugs. We hired pest control professionals to ensure that. On top of it, we changed all the mattresses and linens. Since then, there has been no more bed...

Came here by accident. Did not stay but was looking for something to eat. since it is in the morning, had American breakfast. The breakfast was rather standard with free flow of juices and tea/coffee. What made the place fascinating is the items on display, where some items are really antique. Also the building and the entire row of buildings...

We took a family holiday down to Malacca, and my MIL decided to stay in Heeran House due to its lovely rustic atmosphere. We took the biggest room, at the corner with two single beds, one king sized bed and a day bed. The room itself was nice, tastefully and simply furnished with a view of the river. What ruined...

We received a warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Henry & Marcia and immediately felt at home. They were helpful throughout our stay. The building itself is a lovely old Chinese Straits building. Our room had a view of the river, and having an outside window (unlike much other budget accommodation in Malacca) was great as it lifted up...

The location by Melaka River, and in the old town, is great, and the owners, Henry and Marcia Tan are very friendly, but ultimately this place is let down by lack of maintenance and need of refurbishment. The property is old and it could be wonderful - but it needs some love and attention to make it comfortable. We had...

This old mansion turned into a bed and breakfast is well located in Malacca and is inexpensive but that is where the amenities stop other than Marcia and Henry Tan, the owners, who are very pleasant and helpful. The bathrooms in particular are very old and worn and look dirty although a lot of the problem is the finish eroding...
