A old and run down hotel,located next to a old shopping center "Ocean". We stayed in Quad room with 2 queen side bed, room was clean but all the furniture and beds pillow look are as old as the building. The pillow look's that it has not been changed for the last 10 years. We brought our pillow case to put on. When we open the room door there was a very strong pesticide smell in the whole room, i think they spray it to keep away the insects. It was so strong that we have to open all the windows, spray tea-tree old that we brought along all over the rooms and put on surgical mask. I have stayed in Standard room many 3-4 years ago, this quad room was 5 times better. However i would say that you won't want to stay in the hotel any longer other than take a shower and sleep overnight. This place pretty quiet after the bus terminals and market moved. Hotel is not far away from Melaka Sentral, but pretty far to historical sites 45 mins walk. Plus point 5 mins walk to Malay village along the river interesting sight. To get to hotel from Melaka Sentral take the local bus which have a sign "Ocean" the bus company staff will also shout "OCEAN......" it will stop beside the hotel and infront of the shopping mall.…
