Stayed during the weekday and it seems we had the whole hotel to ourselves with only a few rooms being occupied partly due to Covid.

Generally the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Room was a bit small. Most of the required facilities such as television, coffee maker, iron & ironing board. Air-con was in good condition but can be a bit noisy.

My main complaint was the shower where the water heater takes sometime to heat up and often not hot enough. Also the sink was someone cloaked up and it took some time for the water to flow.

All required amenities in the bathroom was equips including body shampoo and also toothbrush & toothpaste.

No breakfast provided though, although it was not necessary as ample food available around the hotel area.

Location wise, the hotel is in a good location to food stalls but a bit away from the tourist spots. Car park space is ample & parking is free.

Overall a reasonable 3 star hotel.

Stayed for a night in this hotel, plenty of parking available. Check in was a breeze. Room size is adequate, basic amenities like slipper, iron & ironing board, hair dryer and toiletries is provided. Shower is strong and hot enough * too hot sometimes. Basin water running extremely slow. Shower side working ok though, saw some reviewer commented on the water stuck at shower area. Love the bed especially the pillow, is so comfortable.

Plenty of choice for breakfast spread but some is not available if u are late. One thing I noticed that cafe staff still top up food even though breakfast buffet time is up, something that never happen in most of the hotels. Thumbs up for this.

Hope the hotel will upkeep this standard and make it better when I return for my next trip.

I have always been liberal in my review so others could enjoy their stay fairly..listing it down in pros and cons would perhaps enable the hotel management to see their property in the tourist point of view easier..

Pros:
1- ample parking space with security
2- clean eco friendly hotel
3- deluxe room with balcony is nice..
4- breakfast is not as bad as many were complaining..less variety though
5- Fast check in and out

Cons-
1- toilet room were flooded..pic upload
2- bathtub tap water were yellowish in color
3- went to hibiscus cafe at 8.30pm for dinner with family..i think seriously there is an issue with the chef..the waitress keep coming back and inform us the orders were not available after 15min..i change orders and wait 1hr 15min and it still did not come..called the manager and was inform there was an issue in the kitchen..no sorry ever came out of his mouth..after another 15min the waitress come back and say the orders were unavailable..this time i dont bother waiting..i juz cancel the order and went to sleep with empty stomach..
4- i ask the front desk if i could be given a higher floor room..i was told room with balcony were at low floor..i went to my room and watch the room with the balcony on the 7th floor and i realise the hotel highest floor is 7th floor..i understand it might cost more..honesty goes a long way..

Overall its a nice hotel but many need to improve..i did not bother to report to avoid spoiling my holiday..when i pay the hotel for it services i pay it with good money with no damage to the cash..how can the hotel expect guest to remind them their property need repair..housekeeping and maintenance should have a checklist..

It might be just my luck but i hope others dont experience the same as me..its a nice hotel that require improvement..but sadly i might not return...

Booked one hotel room but given the whole hotel building. No one stay in this hotel. No staff on duty during checkin at 6pm. Only security guard available. All TV channel has been disconnected/terminated. Bad wifi. Booked with breakfast but upon checkin security informed that no breakfast is served during movement control orders period. Dimmed lobby. I feel haunted. Central air conditioning has been shutdown to save cost. Rooms are installed with acond which is not conducive after 6hts turned on. Room and lobby are hot. Bad ventilation and smelly corridor. Check out to other hotel at 11pm the same night. Returning the keys to security guard during check out Did not bother offer any compensation after all the above troubles. Enclosed images of gloomy lobby and empty parking. Used to be one of the best in Malacca town but now is totally rundown ( to my opinion). Not accurate nor no updated reviews given on hotels.com web/app.

Before we book this hotel we had research from all reviews so we decide book it. At the fist time we reach this hotel we feel very disappointed the service. Front Desk 2 Malay ladies staff in their white top and very short tight black skirt attitude were damn rude. When we called for taxi service, their response was in unpleasant way of tone and just bang the phone without in courtesy way during end of the conversation. Refused to allow for incoming / outgoing for local call. Service very slow & inexperienced during check in time. Insisted for deposit of RM$150.00 although we paid in full through Agoda website. The worst thing they couldn't trace the prove of payment based on Agoda booking ID in their system. Breakfast food variety is very limited although it is 4 star hotel. Check in at 3 pm is too long to wait suggested the hotel management change it to 2 pm instead. Whenever check out that time the same rude long hair staff (tied in pony tail hairstyle) just told & passed the $150.00 deposit to other young polite male staff returned it to me without look at me or great me. Not intend recommend to relative and friends. This is the first time & last time
we stay this hotel.

This was the first time in my life, the hotel charged the rate different from the quoted rate. They just simply revised the amount and charged to the customer upon checking out.

I called up the hotel to check for the availability on 5th Oct and the rate for standard room, I was told that it will be charged at RM182 as it was fall on Sunday. The price quoted was the same I checked on its website hence I decided to book directly over the phone.

At the time of check-in, upon requested by hotel I authorized my credit card to be verified for deposit purpose and the amount they charged was the same as previously quoted. However, the next day when I checked out and going to make payment, I realised the rate is 30% higher than quotation and noticed that the hotel rate on my booking form was manually changed to the revised amount.

I asked the officer (can't recall her name but started with M, a chinese auntie in around 40 years old should be holding a senior post) the reason, she didn't even bother to explain to me, just briefly told me because 5th Oct is public holiday so I need to charge you for super peak rate.

The following were on mind:
Over the phone, from the website and at the time of check-in, the hotel were all quoting the same rate. However, when I check-out, the price was revised up 30% more and the hotel didn't even want to mention there was a price change or reason behind. This hotel is either cheating for more business or having serious problem on the management.

1. The front office staff's command of English is poor.
2. It's a first time experience to pay a deposit for an additional key card!
3. The room size is very small.
4. If there is a function in the hotel, you won't find any parking space even if you are the hotel guest. How crappy can this be..if you asked me what system do they have, my answer is: NO SYSTEM!
5. Wifi - the wifi sucks...
6. 4-star hotel?? ohh pls..perhaps a 4-star from a budget point of view.

Room:
Booked superior room for 3 people which comes with a queen bed and a single bed for 2 days 1 night stay. To our surprise, only 2 towels are provided. We requested an extra towel from the receptionist, went up to our room and waited for at least half an hour but no one came to give us the extra towel. Then we called the reception and was told they are out of towels. Seriously? And was not given any solution. We end up taking the towel provided at the pool area. And we still did not received our requested extra towel even on the second day. They did not follow up with the issue at all.

Wifi:
Wifi was not working for both days. They are having problem with their service provider.

Service:
Checking in was a bit slow. Workers look like their inexperienced/new workers.

Breakfast:
Free beakfast only provided to 2 person. But that's okay, it was written in our online booking. We paid for the extra breakfast for 1 person which is RM18. When we want to pay with RM50, we were told they dont have any small change for it and the cashier asked us if we have any small change which we don't. Only after waiting for a few mins, they allow us to have breakfast first and pay later.

Maintenance:
My friend used the toilet at Hibiscus Cafe and the pipe was broken and water burst out towards her. She was all wet, clothes, hair etc.

Overall, although it is a new hotel, no doubt it is clean too but service need to be improved. Also, management need to be aware of the hotel surrounding and fix whatever needed to be fix. For a hotel that is rated 4 stars, we did not experience a 4 stars service at all.

Am writing this while reception is communicating with housekeeping as to how much waiting time is required to get the room ready. Not expecting things to turn out pleasant from thereon.

Was told to wait for another 10mins. (Was checked in at abt 5.00pm, 1.5hr of my trip wasted; waiting at the lobby)

Decided to take the leap of faith to give this hotel a try since all other popular and proven hotels like IHG/EQR/HATT were not available probably due to festive season. Date of stay: 05oct14

For decades, it has always been me who has been early at check in. Official check in time at Kings Green was 3pm, attempted check in at 3.40pm but was told that room was not ready due to lack of manpower. Being a consumer, a contributor to the bottomline of the business and was expected to bear consequences for such deficiency?? Ridiculous. That shows how much they are willing to invest in providing an at least par-standard hotelier service; inability to facilitate check in amid extreme late official check in time.

Not commenting on location since I drove hence opinion may be biased.

Overall cleaniness of hotel incl. Room: Quite a new hotel, hence pretty decent

Value: subjective since everyone has a different threshold when it comes to a satisfactory Utility/$. Personally, removing record breaking check in time, room is considered clean for sgd80/night.But still taking away 1.5hr of my time during my leisure trip is a big No No.
