Their family suite, 2 bedrooms with jakuzzi for me are valued for money. my mom (senior citizen) n family enjoyed the stayed. Aside that their strategic location just 5min drive to river cruise in Taman Repah and town, we definitely will come back again.

Superior twin room is spacious & clean. Female Reception is friendly but can be more positive when we told her a blinking light (when it switched off), she simply said they knew it, it like tat". Nobody fix it. We approached another male staff who gladly fixed it promptly. Room facing main road is noisy. Overall, acceptable for 2 nights stay.

The family suite in herald hotel is great .
There is a jacuzzi inside the suite and the bed is very soft. It is only 7 minutes from jonker street. And there is eateries and kfc just below the hotel. Highly recommended for a group of 4-5 person.

To get to jonker street, just grab a taxi at 15 ringgits. Very convenient.

I checked in and requested for extra bed and was being told off that they don’t have any extra bed left. The hotel doesn’t provide any car park. Rate is not cheap and staff’s attitude is extremely bad. So far is the worst hotel that I’ve ever checked in to. Please don’t stay here unless you don’t mind all the poor service.

Room is huge and clean. But due to the construction site next to the hotel, didn't manage to sleep at all. The drilling was non stop from about 2am to 5am. Drilling noise was so loud that the room is in vibration. Called reception a few times but nobody was at the reception to answer my call. Guess I'm not the only guest been calling and I think is also not only that day. It must be noisy for a long period of time.

But did enjoy their Jacuzzi though inside my own room

I love the design in the room especially the tiles in front of the front door. Confortable bed. Modern designed toilet. Some TV signal not so good but that does not matter. Certainly will book again in future.

The hotel is located at old Melaka town, and right behind is a block of abandoned construction sites, which is an unpleasant view to those staying with window facing the back.

We were given a room with saliva stinky smell, and to my very surprise is when we confronted the front desk, the reception said she know about it. We are so frustrated with the answer and demand for a room change. They swap us to a higher floor with the toilet seems to be un-cleaned as well.

Then we were referred to a housekeeper to source an acceptable room, which ended up walking with him and surveyed another 2 rooms before we could finally settle down.

Real disappointed and would never return again.

Please go here to take their deluxe spa or jacuzzi rooms, prefect to unwind and relax after a stressful working week. Highly recommend this room for mini honeymoons. Please ask the front desk to give the room with the jacuzzi, whirlpool, steam sauna and rain shower. Huge stately rooms, very well furnished. No complaints at all. Do visit!

My friend and I stayed 2 nights at the Herald hotel. It was about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the center of Melacca but we didn't mind. The staff at the hotel were very helpful especially the new manager, Jason. We found the accommodation comfortable and clean. It would have been a huge advantage to have had breakfast available but we were told that in the near future there were plans to extend the hotel to include a breakfast area.
