I understand that the hotel was busy during my stay, but I was disappointed with the reception experience. The receptionist who checked me in was not welcoming, as there was no smile or friendly demeanor. Additionally, my room was not serviced until 3 p.m., even though I had placed the ‘make up room’ sign on the door. The same receptionist also collected the cleaning fee but did not provide a receipt. (we got refunded too). I chose this property because the Courtyard was fully booked. I expected a similar level of service. I hope these points will be addressed to improve the guest experience.

One of the best hotel in Malacca. I stayed at this hotel most of the time when visited Malacca. But havent been to here after MCO. The pool still quite nice and suitable for family with kids. I didnt get the breakfast buffet this time so i don't know their service nowadays. But one thing that dissapointed me this time is when i called the concierge requested extra towel for my kids, they said they have to charge me rm10. It's a little bit ridiculous because i've been to so many hotels in malaysia and never once they want to charge me for extra towels. I hope the management can look into this because this makes the hotel looks quite sad and unattentive to guests. Other than that i have an enjoyable stay, the room overlooking Kg Morten and the river is always so pretty to look at. The lobby and hotel room smell very nice with the fragrance and they provided welcome drinks in the lobby too.

Booked a connecting room for myself, my partner and my daughter. Location wise is fine. It's at the heart of Melaka so it's nearby Jonker Walk and other well-known places in Melaka. Out of 2 rooms, 1 of the room was not given a foot towel. When we asked for a towel which was their mistake for not placing one before we checked in, we need to pay RM10 for it, which is pretty ridiculous. The TV has limited channel. One of the room's water heater was not working and they noted but refused to get it fixed or offer another room for us. The breakfast buffet was okay but the menu is the same everyday. Luckily we're there for only 3D2N only. And they ought to place mirror in the room, not just the bathroom. They need to work on the lighting as well because it's quite dark.

The hotel is generally good and safe to stay. My first time in Melaka City. Thank you Rajina. This Malaysian lady comes to our room everyday to clean and replenish our coffee tray, toiletries and change our beddings. She is so nice, friendly and has a smiling pretty face. Sorry i forgot to ask her surname. The hotel has a sky garden (level 30)where you can view the city of Melaka. It has also a swimming pool (level 9) and sauna for adults and kids and a gymnasium. So nice to stay in. The hotel has also the Garden terrace for your breakfast. The hotel is walking distance to most of the historical spots and museums so everyday during our 5 day visit in Melaka, we just walk arround to reach the historical attractions. Need: umbrella, a wide hat, sunscreen, small towel to wipe your sweat and food (water and chichiria🤔🤔)

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the laundry service provided during my recent stay at Swiss Garden Hotel, Melaka. I specifically requested that my garments be returned on hangers, a request that was overlooked. Upon bringing this to the attention of the reception staff, I was asked to collect the garments myself from the reception, despite having paid for the service.
Additionally, I had requested that my clothes be pressed again, as they had been folded contrary to my instructions. When a staff member delivered my clothes to my room on hangers, I inquired if they had indeed been re-pressed. The staff member assured me they had been, but upon inspection, it was clear that the clothes still bore visible fold lines, indicating no further pressing had taken place.
This level of service is both unsatisfactory and unprofessional, especially given that I had paid for the laundry services. As a paying guest, I should not have to personally re-press my clothing after paying for this service. I trust the management will take the necessary steps to rectify these shortcomings for future guests.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Checkin was swift and gave an initial good impression.
The room when we came in were neat & orderly. The bed felt rather used and seem dated and the pillows were too soft to my liking. The amenities in the rooms were adequate.
My main complaint on the room is that it is not sound proof. You can hear your neighbors easily and also noice from the outside. Throughout the night I could hear the sound of blowing winds and this disrupted my sleep.
The water pressure at the shower is also low, however adequate for a bath.
The housekeeping did not clean the room well & did not remove the dust bin for 3 days resulting in an overflowed dustbin on our last day.
Free parking was available for hotel guests in the 7th & 8th floor upon registering your car number plate which was convenient. However out of the 4 lifts only one goes to the car park which means a long wait time. You need to either go to Floor 3A or Ground Floor to exit to the lifts to the car park.
Food at the buffet in the morning was good. A plus point.

Where to start... price quality is very poor. The rooms are fine but dirty. Really dirty, unhygienic never experienced anything like this (and we stay in many hotels). Upon check-in immediately reported that the room is dirty. Sir cleaned it was said however the floor was still full of hair and the old toilet rolls were still empty under the bath furniture. When I looked under the bed, I don't think there had been any cleaning in months. After 3 x cleaning the room was “clean” to the eye, on the fridge was still an old handkerchief of the previous guests and lots of dust.
Breakfast extensive, especially Asian-oriented but with a croissant we are already satisfied, however you sometimes stand in line here for up to half an hour before a table becomes available. The queue is up to the shopping mall (no joke). The pool, quite an experience, daily around 50 screaming children from 7 am. The pool only has a few hours of sun because of the high buildings around it, you do not go to this pool for your rest. Also at the pool it is dirty, the plastic bottles lying around, no one cleaning anything up (we were there for 5 days and the debris only increased).
Plastic bottles, loose pool tiles, slippers, leftover food. Super smooth tiles and loose wooden planks. As a surprise when checking out we still had to pay 18 euros per day in taxes that were not known in advance.

1) Requested 1 extra towel and the hotel wanted money for it. Given that my booking already stated the number of guests with me, this should have been provided. Making things worst, Housekeeping staff insisted that I pay money at the check-in counter before issuing the extra towel. The housekeeping staff actually raised her voice when talking to me. Totally unacceptable. 2) Bathroom shower room is mouldy. Looks like the waterproof seals have black moulds on them. 3) The whole floor which houses the swimming pool and gym was soaking wet. This is an accident waiting to happen, with many children running around. No one were there to periodically mop the floor. No signages were placed to warn people of the slippery floor.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka, and I cannot emphasize enough the remarkable level of room cleaning service provided during my stay. From the moment I stepped into my room, I was immediately struck by its pristine condition and the attention to detail that was consistently maintained throughout my visit. Every day, without fail, my room was impeccably cleaned and tidied up to the highest standards. From neatly made beds to sparkling bathroom fixtures, every corner of the room received thorough attention. It was evident that the cleaning staff took immense pride in their work, leaving me with a refreshing sense of comfort and relaxation every time I returned to my room.

This was worst of our stays during any of our holidays so far. We are surprised how this is rated as one of the topmost hotels to stay at Melaka, despite so many dissatisfied customers, and no acknowledgement at all from the hotel management to any of the reviews. To start with, the front desk staff was extremely plain faced, with no sign of any greeting on check in. Not that it meant a lot to us, still a warm welcome could do no harm.
We were allocated a room which on entering smelled very strongly of damp walls. We tried multiple times to contact the front desk as well as duty manager, with no response at all on the lines. On request to baggage porter, we subsequently shifted to another room.
Let us describe the room for everyone’s benefit - low lit, spoiled linen, rusted kettle, jammed washbasin (which despite requesting multiple times during our 2 night stay wasn’t attended to), torn and pale bathroom towels, and to top it all mosquitos in the room at night. And during this entire stay of 2 nights, we were never lucky to get front desk or even the duty manager on intercom line with our multiple attempts. The in room dining menu was not available in the room, and likewise duty manager and front desk, the in room dining number too did not respond to calls.
We hate to say this, but the complimentary breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a complete showdown with extremely cold food. None of the items tasted fresh.
We would strongly recommend to avoid this hotel, and next time we are at Melaka, we are for sure staying somewhere else, not repeating the same mistake.
