Hotel is still maintain good service even it closed quite long time. Have to serve breakfast soon, especially baba nyonya food, as now we have to go outside for breakfast before going to Mahkota Medical Centre
Requested an additional towel, pillow and water when I booked (2 adults & 1 child), remarked again on the online check-in; when arrived room found out nothing had been arranged! Called the front office 5 times and waited 4 hours but still can't get what I requested! I had to go down to the lobby to make a complaint then only housekeeping sent the items I requested (but bad condition item received)! The hotel was badly maintained. The buffet breakfast can't cater for all guests, most food, beverages and utensils were finished at 9 am (waited long but no refill)! Hatten was once my favourite hotel in Melaka but really disappointed this time!
Room was really big for the 3 of us in a group. 2 bedrooms each with an attached toilet. In fact the living room can sleep another on the long sofa. Room was clean and air con was cold. The location is also a pus for traveller intending to visit Jonker street, its within walking distance. Few shopping centre around and many eateries surrounding the hotel. I will be bringing my family members to visit again and this hotel will definitely be my choice. Our purchase comes with a free dinner for 2 adults and 2 children. Were a bit disappointed when we were not able to convert it to 3 adults. In the end, we forgo the dinner and had our dinner outside instead.
Good location to stay. Easy access to Jonker Walk. Shower pressure was not good. AC okie. Front Desk okie. Parking okie. Free Parking via TnG. Carpark walkway was little bit dark at Level 4. Coffee house did not operate, may be shortage of staffing.
Great price for deluxe suit. It has two twin bed and one king bed. Suit nicely for us that have two adult and 3 kid include 1infant. Room very nice. Each got tv. Nice size room even got seperate shower. We stay during ramdhan and also got the ramadhan buffer for 4 person. Really great staff. Really good food and great room. If any that need updates are the room ac need to be serviced regularly to reduce the musty smell and lack of cold air. Lobby lighting and the way finding from lobby to carpark need to be upgraded.
