We stopped off in Prattville Alabama because it was the half way point to our Savannah destination. This B&B is run by a very nice couple. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We are not used to staying in B&B's but wanted to try it and it was a different experience. The breakfast was really good... More

My husband and I were participating in a volunteer archaeology dig and chose to spend both nights in Prattville. We decided to try a Bed and Breakfast in this quaint city rather than the boring motels. I'm so glad we did! David and Beth Melling were perfect hosts. They also have a tea room in this house and the two... More

If you want a truly Southern experience or, like my friends, just to go back to "the good old days" this is a dream come true. The food is designed around the teas and herbs and lovingly prepared and served by Beth and David. The teas are specially blended by them also and are excellent. (We always end up buying... More

Very comfortable and quaint accomadations. Stayed in the downstairs bedroom with a comfortable bed and bathroom which was exceptional. Beth and Dave were very accommodating and eager to please. The southern breakfast (grits and scones) and amazing teas was worth the overnight fee in and of itself. Historical house. The community is quiet but representative of that part of Alabama.... More

When my mom visits my sister and her daughters they always make time to visit this Tea Room and B&B. Today was my first visit and I am glad we had time to squeeze it in during my trip as well. Dave and Beth are renovating this grand old lady themselves and are taking the time to do the research... More

Victorian charm envelops everything at this B&B. The owners, David and Beth, are delightful conversationalists and excellent hosts. Breakfast of cinnamon scones, strawberry-banana scones, eggs to your liking, bacon and fresh brewed chai was elegantly served in their well appointed tea room. The fruit was lovingly prepared (mango, strawberries, peaches.....scrumptious!) and accentuated by flavorful, fresh fruit butter. The atmosphere and... More

We always have a great time when we visit the Tea Room. David and Beth (the owners) are always so accommodating and helpful to our "tea-time" needs. It is really a great experience for friends to sit and visit with one another without all of the busy, hectic world interruptions.

We stayed with David and Beth (the owners) for 2 nights. Due to health issues, we were a bit more trouble than most but it didn't faze them in the least. The tea and scones were lovely. We loved the chance to try different teas but the do have coffee for the diehard coffee fan.
