My husband and I stayed here for 7 days on our honeymoon. Every day we were there was even more amazing than the next! It's easy to get used to the relaxed atmosphere at this place! After reading some of the negative reviews, I realize you need to come into your experience at Wakaya understanding what it is. It is...

If you like idyllic surroundings, peaceful voices, gentle smiles, superb service, delicious sparkling cuisine, freshly squeezed cocktails, glorious snorkelling, beautiful walks, and secluded beaches then you will love the Wakaya Club as much as I do.

The Wakaya Club is just a little bit of paradise on earth. Total exclusivity (only 28 guests at any one time), wonderful accommodations in beautifully decorated cottages called Bures, great food and wines and all the sports you can do (golf, tennis crocquet, snorkeling, deep sea diving, and fishing. There is no noise, great private beaches and service equal to...

If your definition of luxury consists of marble bathrooms and private butlers, then Wakaya may not be the best place for you to go (spend a comparable amount of money in a Dubai hotel and you'll probably get the glitzy glamour that you want). Wakaya represents another kind of luxury, and one that is more difficult to find! Welcome to...

Just came back from 9 days on Wakaya in the Governor's Bure. Having read a mixed bag of reviews, I had a little trepidation, which proved completely unfounded. We usually stay at Amans or Four Seasons or rent a villa, just to give you a sense of our perspective. Wakaya is likely not for everyone. If cost or money is...

My husband and I spent two incredible weeks in the Governor's Bure. This was our 2nd time to Wakaya, the first time almost 10 years ago. We always carried the memory of it as one of the most special times we've had, but it's hard to get to Fiji and there just never seemed like we had the time. We...

This was the most exclusive vacation we’ve ever taken, and we’re still sad it’s over one week later. It’s also difficult to start doing things for yourself again; the staff there was just so excellent. Dining: At first we were concerned that there is only one restaurant there. But with staff trained by Nobu, Charlie Trotter and the like, we...

We selected Wakaya for our honeymoon, and would go back again in a minute if we could. Yes, it's expensive, as other reviewers have pointed out. But we loved it. We loved the privacy and the freedom of being able to do whatever you wanted at a moments notice. We did it all - including booking the private beach where...

Can't be beat, but you really can't spend any more than this.Wakaya really is a private retreat where you and your guest are intentionally spoiled. It is enjoyable to be asked what you want for breakfast "because we have no menu", and have to use your imagination. Take a day trip to one of the beaches and have them prepare...
