A very child friendly resort with a kids club during the day and baby sitters available in the evenings for a moderate fee. The beachside Bure are the best and are very comfortable and airconditioned with close access to the beach . Food choice is limited at dinner to the buffett no a la carte and service can be slow...

We've just returned from a 7 day trip to plantation and it was just lovely. The resort is magnificent and there's so much to do for both old and young. My son 3.5 years fell in love with the kids club and having babysitters at the ready for our 16 month old meant we were able to enjoy some moments...

Just got back from a 7 night stay here at plantation and couldn't have asked for a better holiday! Our accommodation was excellent and was just over 100m from the beach. Not sure why there were so many negative reviews about the food because it was delicious! Different theme every night for the buffet style dinner. One night we even...

Just back from our second trip to Plantation island. We are a family travelling with three children, ages 15, 13 and 7. We really enjoyed it again and feel the resort is looking lovely with lots of work having been done on keeping the place looking great. Special mention to the wonderful staff at the PADI diving school who looked...

Ocean Front Bure a must at this ageing resort. It's not 5 star and the buffet is pretty basic however for the price the family entertainment is good value. The 200 numbered Bures are best - stay away from restaurant side as it smells and construction goes on from morning to night without warning. Michael from staff is pretty good...

OK...this may be a long one. We just arrived home yesterday, 2 adults and our son who is 3. This place is really amazing...a true paradise. Lets start with food...sure its not fine dining but for example breakfast....fried or scrambled eggs, hash browns, baked beans, bacon, pancakes, tea cakes, fruit, tea, coffee, juice, toast, spreads, cereals...what more do you want....

If you are mega fussy and expect 5-star accommodation and food, then best to stay somewhere else. However, if you are wanting an island that has an amazing atmosphere, crystal clear blue water, white sandy beach, a great variety of accommodation and friendly staff, then this is for you! Our kids were aged 4, 6 & 11yrs and they all...
