We visted Treasury Island resort recently and left after 48 hours. The location os stunning and snorkeling is good as is the turtle breeding program. However thats where it stops. The food is not great and there is really not much to do...which may appeal to some, but not for us. The staff seemed disinterested except for the turtle breeding...

Our holiday to Treasure island was as a family and with another family, both consisting of two adults and two children. This was the second time to Fiji for us but first time to Treasure Island. The arrival on the island was great as we were greeted with song and a cool drink. The staff in the admin bure were...

This is a small island that you can swim around - literally I did it a couple of times. It is 50% owned by a resort company and 50% owned by the islanders in a co-operative and it shows as it just has that extra touch of community and genuine friendly feel that Castaway (which we visited afterwards) and Malola...

This is our fourth year holidaying in Fiji so we thought we would try some new islands. Having done malolo and castaway islands a few times we decided to try treasure island. There are 4 in our family my wife and I and 2 girls 6-7. We have done a lot of research over the years and to be honest...

We have been to Fiji before so we do know what to expect. The good: beautiful indigenous people, great food, lovely beaches and corals. The bad: wine and beer priced up by 600%, rundown facilities, overpriced water sports, smell of sewerage at certain areas. We paid extra for the drinks package, but didn't get any value due to the slow service...

The hotel is probably the best of worse if that makes sense. It's a good 3 stars and I'm sure you will enjoy it but here is the complete check up: Weather: the apps always show the weather in Nadi and it's always raining. The sky is pretty much always bleu in all islands once you leave Nadi so don't...

We've stayed at Treasure Island a few times before and have always loved it. While we did enjoy our most recent holiday there, there definitely seems to be some room for improvement now. I'll start with the positives. It's a beautiful little island with white sand and stunning turquoise sea. It overlooks other tiny islands dotted in the ocean and...

We recently spent a week on treasure island. The room was clean and tidy, we had an amazing view from our room. Beach decor was dated. The restaurants on the island were a major disappointment. There was no consistency in the dishes being severed, lacked taste and was completely unimpressive and over priced Unfortunately this is the only place to...

Treasure Island is a great island to visit if you like small and quiet. The Wildlife is really amazing they have parrots turtles a uniquie fijian bird. The food is good. The entertainment is good at night. The snorkelling is very good and the Jet skis were cheaper than anywhere else

We recently had a 4 night stay with our 2 girls and it was ok but I certainly wouldn't revisit again. We have been to several other islands and unfortunately this doesn't live up to them. The whole resort is tired and old and really needs a complete reno and the food was not the greatest. The major thing for...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set on a coral and sand fringed atoll within a stunning marine sanctuary, Treasure Island is one of Fiji's most iconic resorts, with over 40 years' experience in providing hospitality and friendship to travellers from across the globe. The island caters especially to families, honeymooners and true romantics seeking a unique and unforgettable island holiday experience. Treasure Island is one of the only resorts in the Mamanuca Islands to offer same day transfers, which means that you arrive on our island paradise the same day you arrive in Fiji. Treasure Island is unique as our traditional land owners, the Nakelo Clan, own 50 per cent of the resort and members of the clan hold many key positions, so our team (or as they prefer to be called, hosts) have a vested interest in delivering a truly authentic Fijian experience. This genuine hospitality is contagious and the main reason we have so many return guests. In fact one couple has visited us 85 times! Why don't you come experience for yourself what is unique and special about our island paradise. ... more   less
