Upon a suggestion from someone who has been going to Toberua since the early 80s my wife and young daughter stayed at Toberua Island for a week and a half. We had such an amazing time. The island is gorgeous and the staff are incredible. We were there with another couple who have been to the island many times and...

Where do I start.....Firstly to say thankyou to trip adviser. If it wasn't for you we would not have found paradise & had the most wonderful holiday. Our travel agent found a few places for us (very last minute holiday decision ) but we chose Toberua after reading all of the wonderful reviews.I have never met such beautiful staff who were...

The main advantage of Toberua is that it is so small - only 15 bures. This means that all the staff know your name within hours of arrival (including the gardeners). We felt really welcome from the moment we set foot on the island, and that feeling lasted the whole time - it was a real wrench when our time...

I write this review a bit hesitantly. I love sharing great experiences, and without trip advisor we wouldn't have found toberua, but you really don't want everyone knowing how amazing this place is. My family with two teenage kids spent five nights on the island recently - i wish it was more. It's hard to list all the highlights but...

We hesitate to write this review, as we fear that it will become increasingly difficult to get a reservation at Toberua. It is by every measure our definition of paradise. No surprise that the word 'magical' appears in many reviews. Over the 20 years we have been going to Toberua the food just gets better and better; the local sourcing...

We stayed at toberua for 4 nights, and it is a lovely island, freindly staff and they were very accomodating with my food requests. However, in hindsight i would have chosen an adult only island. the first night there wer eonly 2 children, but by our last night we were the only couple on the island and there were actually...

What a magical place this was. We were travelling with extended family, with eleven of us in total, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Toberua Island Resort. We found ourselves being as busy or as relaxed as we wanted to be. The Fijian's and the resort managers were lovely and no request was too much trouble. The meals...

We (my wife my 8-year old son and I) have been to Toberua last August and it has been a wonderful experience at 360 degrees we never forgot. The location is amazing, rooms are lovely, staff are superlative and management is unique. Also activities are nice and the chef and his food are supreme. Everyone working in the resort is...

Ahh Toberua Toberua what can be said that hasn't. Transfers are organized by Toberua and they have it down pact like a well oiled machine, even though we did wonder where the taxi driver was taking us as he picked us up in Suva and about an hour later we were on the boat to Toberua. Max the manager plus...

Although we happened to be there through the edge of a tropical cyclone, so the weather was not so good, it was nonetheless a really enjoyable holiday. The accommodation cannot be faulted. We took the meals plan and that was SO worth it. The food was of a high standard and probably your departure weight will be slightly more than...
