What a magical place this was. We were travelling with extended family, with eleven of us in total, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Toberua Island Resort. We found ourselves being as busy or as relaxed as we wanted to be. The Fijian's and the resort managers were lovely and no request was too much trouble. The meals...

We (my wife my 8-year old son and I) have been to Toberua last August and it has been a wonderful experience at 360 degrees we never forgot. The location is amazing, rooms are lovely, staff are superlative and management is unique. Also activities are nice and the chef and his food are supreme. Everyone working in the resort is...

Ahh Toberua Toberua what can be said that hasn't. Transfers are organized by Toberua and they have it down pact like a well oiled machine, even though we did wonder where the taxi driver was taking us as he picked us up in Suva and about an hour later we were on the boat to Toberua. Max the manager plus...

Although we happened to be there through the edge of a tropical cyclone, so the weather was not so good, it was nonetheless a really enjoyable holiday. The accommodation cannot be faulted. We took the meals plan and that was SO worth it. The food was of a high standard and probably your departure weight will be slightly more than...

Everything about Toberua Resort was great - the island itself is tiny which means the ratio of guests to staff allows for the best service. All the staff really looked after us and were consistently helpful and great to have around. All the bures had perfect views and were right on the water. The food was fantastic too! No complaints,...

My husband and I had such a great time at Toberua! The staff were so friendly and welcoming which made us feel very special and always went out of their way to help. The food was absolutely beautiful! It was 5 star quality everytime and always well presented. We loved our number 2 bure which was positioned only footsteps from...

Yes the staff and management are amazing! Yes the food is to die for! But what is really outstanding about Toberua Island Resort is how laid back it is and also how easy it is to get there from Auckland! A fantastic place to relax and unwind. But there is also plenty to do, including big game fishing (and they...

Wonderful stay made by delightful staff and excellent set-up with decadent food. I would never imagine newly-engaged's and young families blending so well in a reasonably small space but the vibe of the island is so friendly and welcoming you can't help but smile. Well run, great food, great resources (kayaks, paddle boards, dive/snorkle boats etc) and totally caring and...

This is a wonderful resort and one highlight is the food - fresh from the markets twice a week, with a menu around whatever is going or caught by local fisherman and sold to the resort that day. Great chef and don't let the "limited menu choices" fool you. This was 100 times better than the food we had on...

It was a surprise for my wife's birthday - what I was searching for was an authentic, isolated, romantic, bure-on-the-beach, quality food, great but discreet service - Fijian experience. What I found was Toberua Island which simply has to be a very special 'slice of heaven'. The magical staff & management bring an easy & relaxed warmth to this island...
