Yes, yes - I know it's the second highest hotel in the world, so it's going to have great views, isn't it? And it does - simply stunning. But I just couldn't love this hotel. My room was sticky - everything. Doors, cupboards, desk - just sticky. Yuck. And many of my fellow guests were complaining about walking into glass...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 12 January 2017

In my memory, Park Hyatt Shanghai will not disappoint and indeed, it was more than perfect. The services will always be well executed. What additional amenities that was co-ordinated with Andy's concierge team were executed flawlessly. Requests and information requested were given accurately, always with a little bit more. Property was extremely well kept, despite almost being almost ten years...

I have stayed in many hotels, but can honestly say, I loved this one. Weird lift system aside, this hotel feels very unique in Shanghai. High floor views, dark and intriguing ambiance. Excellent food, especially breakfast. Very well run and managed. Nothing ever felt too much. Would recommend for personal and business use.

We lived here for 3 weeks when we moved to Shanghai and it was wonderful. Our 87th floor room was ultra posh and it was equipped with a delightful array of electronic conveniences. Ultra modern in style with great service and a delightful breakfast daily. A must stay in Shanghai.

Huge rooms, huge bathrooms, amazing amenities! Spa treatments simply SUPERB, with unbelievably large treatment rooms. If you book multiple treatments, the room is prepared to accommodate all of those treatments. The view, oh the view 😍🙈. Definitely a property I want to revisit! Great location too.

Fantastic view from the room and great service. I stayed in a Park Deluxe King room and wow what a room! I felt I was home and the only downside was my stay there was only one night. The breakfast had it almost everything you can imagine. This is one of my favorite hotel in Asia.

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
