My daughter (9yrs) and I had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights at The PuLi Hotel & Spa on recommendation from a friend. From the moment we arrived to the day we left everything was perfect. We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel including the tranquil spa. This was my daughter's first spa experience and the staff were incredibly...

This is a great hotel, great spacious rooms, great facilities (the pool / steam / sauna is truly great), and the bar and dining areas also nice and relaxing to hang out in. Free mini bar is also a nice touch.

We spent 6 days in the Puli. The hotel is so peaceful, the view is amazing, the rooms very well furnished with high level of services. The spa is so relaxing - the swimming pool has a great view. All the staff were so nice to us. I definitely will recommend The Puli.

Still probably my top choice in Shanghai. Love the design of the hotel. The room amenities and the breakfast is great. Staff and service is inconsistent though. Some are quite helpful, and some unfortunately don't care as much. Check-in was quite nice, greeted by a lovely smiling young lady, however, check-out was not so nice. The gentlemen did not seem...

Visiting Shanghai for fun and Formula 1 we booked into The Puli Hotel & Spa in the Jingan Temple area. It's one of the leading hotels of the world group and lives up to that promise. Superb decor, very cool but comfortable and extremely friendly efficient staff. The room was very well equipped and had a super comfy bed. The...

Like most travellers these days, I research various hotels on Tripadvisor before deciding on one. I was intrigued by the Puli, as I had not previously heard of this hotel, yet it had garnered such a large number of glowing reviews, that I was keen to try it. First of all, the Puli is not for those on a budget....

I stayed here for a little over a week while in Shanghai for work. Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
