Little gem of a hotel. A Simply great little find tucked in a corner right in the heart of all the best tourist attractions. With fantastic helpful English speaking staff who made us feel most welcome on our two night stay (wish we had stayed longer) they sent a welcome email with precise instructions on how to get to the...

Great staff, very helpful and with fluent english, which is not that common, even in more expensive hotels. We arrived in the morning, after a 12 hour train ride from Beijing, and since our room wasnt ready yet (totally understable as we were checking in 4 hours early), the staff upgraded us to a suite (which has a separate living...

We stayed there 5 nights. Although the hotel access does not seem that obvious, it is very well located close to the Bund and the main shopping areas. The staff speaks good English and is really eager to help. They even printed some documents for us and when we told them that the side lamp was not working, they got...

Great Hotel, fantastic location and super helpful staff. Specially at the front desk, a girl called Ke Han went out of the way to help us. One block from Nanjing Road, nothing you can't do from here if you are a tourist. Oh did I mention .. great value for money.

Recently stayed here and would recommend it. Free wifi provided. Our room had 3 bedrooms and a small lounge area which was plenty big enough for 4 people. The room was clean and tidy and bottled water was provided in the room free of charge. Friendly and helpful staff who arranged our transport to the cruise terminal which was about...

Our family of 2 adults, 2 children (11yrs), stayed for 4 nights. 'Apartment'was spacious with 3 bedrooms (1x bunks, 1x twin and 1x double). Bathroom fine, and tea facilities available. We ate breakfast which was juice, banana, cereal and yoghurt (Chinese yoghurt is very runny- almost drinkable), toast and coffee. Great service with English speaking reception staff. They helped us...

This hotel is located right next to East Nanjing Road metro stop but quite difficult to spot. Walking to the Bund takes about 10 minutes and Yu Yuan Garden about 30 minutes. The hotel was being renovated when we stayed but the rooms are large, shower excellent and a wide choice of Chinese channels on the TV. The rooms were...

Great place to stay, close to metro and shopping. Staff all spoke English and were really helpful. It was clean and enough needed for a short stay. The fish market at the front's a bit dirty and smelly but nothing that would inpact your stay

This place is great. Near subway and the bund. Staff were very helpful with requests for extra bedding, and language issues! Room was away from main street on top floor and was quiet. Only small issue was the curtains could have been a little heavier against the morning light! Overall very good value for money.

We stayed here for 5 nights in total, 3 days then 2 days. The first room we had had a lovely balcony which was good for sitting outside in the evening listening to the city. When we returned we were "Upgraded" to a suite but were really disappointed - it felt more cramped and badly laid out and had hardly...
