I am not normally the type of guy who writes reviews, Although I do always read them. So I though it was high time I offered a bit of feedback myself. It strikes me that normally people are only motivated to write reviews when they have a negative experience; if you enjoy your stay you simply say thank you and...

The location is perfect. Just north of People's Square, if you arrive at PuDong airport, I suggest you take the Maglev cross over to the subway station and take line2 (green line) to People's Square. Exit door 7 cross the street and walk 200m. Once you arrive you will be greeted by a staff dedicated to make your stay an...

I stayed here for one night as a 'staycation' treat. Accordingly, I booked an executive suite, with the promise of a high floor, city views, access to executive lounge, etc. I also requested early check in at midday, which was confirmed without question. However, when I arrived at around 12:30, I discovered by looking at the invoice that I had...

It's a busy hotel. Good rooms. Food is also pretty okay. service staff is also okay. There is a difference from Shangri La service in Pudong, it's not upto that standard but quite good. Decent for business Great location. Close to a lot of things, walking distance. And connected to coffee shops etc.

Staying in People’s Square

Neighbourhood Profile
People’s Square
People’s Square brings with it all the excitement you would expect from the town square of one of the biggest cities in the world. The area around People’s Square and People’s Park is always a abuzz with activity. Oceans of local and foreign tourists flow in and out of the area every day to see grand museums, go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied food centers. Shanghai residents, meanwhile, live and work in the many residential and office high-rises. While much of Shanghai stays busy late into the night, this really is an area that never sleeps with glitzy nightclubs keeping people up until the wee hours of the morning.
