My second time at this hotel, and after many other hotels I tried in Shanghai, this is the absolute best. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with great views of the TV Tower (from my room). The temperature of the room is not fully independent as the hotel has a centralized system that can be set at either hot or cold,...

Checked into a NON-SMOKING room. It stinks!!! The previous occupants clearly didn't see or didn't obey the rules BUT doesn't housekeeping notice the putrid smell? Isn't here a supervisor who checks these 5-Star overpriced rooms? No... then why not? I shouldn't have to move rooms at 10pm at night after a long day of travelling. It's a well appointed room...

Stayed here for two nights. Check in was done very early, and room given out to us around 9am. Very nice. Room on 64th floor was nice, clean, comfy, with big marble bathroom and very functional. Wi-fi quite good and usable. Grand Club very good, serving delicious food for breakfast and evening hours. All staff good with English and very...

Spent 3 nights with my teenage children seeing the sights of Shanghai. Hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to malls/shopping, the harbourfront, Oriental Pearl Tower, and right across the street from the Shanghai Tower. Also an easy walk to the ferry that will take you across the river to The Bund. The hotel is on the upper...

Good views, nice rooms, various restaurant options and nice breakfast selection. Cloud 9 bar serves tasteful drinks and barsnacks. (Mini burgers, trufflefries etc.) Clarence Chu is a very helpful manager who made a very satisfying first impression upon our arrival.

Quick and efficient check-in experience. Friendly, knowledgeable & helpful staff. During the 2 says I stayed there, the weather was extremely overcast, so I never had a chance to enjoy what would have been a spectacular view. Room was large, comfortable and quiet.

Stayed here for work and it was a very nice hotel. Bed was nice and cozy and the bathrooms were clean. The gym is a little on the small side, but have enough equipment for variety. They periodically clean down the machines and put tags on them to indicate they have been cleaned, so that's a nice touch.

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
