Booked this hotel due to proximity to airport as I had to take a flight from Hongqiao in the morning. Staff very friendly but speaking only little English. Room size is OK but everything in the room is quite run down. Bathroom not really clean and very old. Breakfast buffet with good variety of Asian and some Western food. I...

This is a great hotel to stay in the night before a flight as its only a 15minute shuttle (free) drive from the airport at Pudong. The hotel has a selection of restaurants with a great buffet option for about £15.00. The only downside is it's in quite a tatty area with no where to have a walk to get...

To find it -- from baggage claim take the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Turn right out of the elevator and walk about 100 yards. You're there. The train station is about a 10 minute walk. Leave the hotel -- clear security -- and following the signs to the TRAIN. It's that easy. Small room but very nice. No...

The rooms were pretty good at this hotel, no issues to report. The location of the hotel was a long way out from the city. Certainly no good for sightseeing. I had to get a taxi to the city and the distance was about an hours drive. To book a taxi at the hotel took some effort as no-one spoke...

Shanghain International Airport Hotel is located near Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. The hotel has great friendly and helpful staff. However, I feel there is a need for the hotel to refurbish its rooms since it is quite old. The location is close to the airport, however, there are not any places you can walk outside the hotel to roam around...

If your flight has a long stop over then make sure you have plenty of warm clothes, the airport in December and January was freezing, not many shops to peruse if you have a long wait, food looked ok but found a Costa right at the end of the row of shops, that looked much better, at least the food...

DO NOT get a taxi from the people inside saying they work for the airport and who also wear airport staff badges and will take you to a little booth in the airport with eftpos but they will prefer cash and charge you less if you use cash. They will charge you at least double the fair to wherever you...

The location is fantastic for both terminal 2, the railway station and a free bus to get the terminal 1. The only slight downfall came in check in and the lady was not very helpful in telling me where my room was. The room is slightly small but for a flying visit after a long night it is a perfect...

Yes, this is another formerly very nice hotel that has gone very local. Yes, some of the staff can be a bit abrupt. And yes, the air conditioning is not great. But there are some good things about this hotel. First of all, they will pick you up any time of the day or night, from either Hongqiao Terminal. I...

Gaudy aging las vegas style lobby, terrible non smiling customer service. you check in with one front desk person and then have to line up with another to pay a key deposit. this...
