Located in a quiet part of Jingan, Shantgtex (formerly Hufang) is a bargain with its rate.
For business travel, it's adequate. For leisure, the hotel is minutes walk from trendy cafes and restaurants, with streets lined with large trees and historical buildings that are begging...More
This hotel is a standard Chinese hotel, so be prepared to get what you paid for.
The Shangtex (as it is now known), is about 10-15 minutes away from Henglong Shopping Centre and the Kerry Centre.

We were surprised to get a room in a building next to the hotel, rather than in the main hotel building. The room itself was OK, but the entrance, corridors etc were really not nice and the building is of a much lower standard than...More

Jing'an / Nanjing West Road
Show More Show Less
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same
quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
