I stopped overnight and hoped to conduct some business before hitting the road the next day. The 'business center' consisted of two dumb terminals and a laser printer. I could not open a word or excel document on one of the computers (message was not enough memory). The other had no printers installed. I tried converting the files to .pdf...

Please accept my sincere apologies for the absence of our business center during your recent stay. A recent storm knocked out the guest internet server and switch, and it was several days to get the replacements. We did manage to connect a temporary switch to give us some internet, but did not have sufficient capability of reconnecting the business center...

I am a loyal Marriott customer, however, I will never stay at this hotel again. JW Marriott would be extremely embarrassed to have his name on this hotel. Room furniture and carpets are extremely filthy. Volume on TV would not go up enough to hear it. There were ants crawling all over the counter at the Bistro.

My husband and I were in town for one night while he had a business meeting. I had my choice between the Hampton Inn next door or the Courtyard. I'm not sure why I picked the Courtyard. The man at the front desk during check in was personable. The room was beautiful as was the bathroom. However, there was a...

King room nicely appointed & clean, price $88 for AAA, however... Towel rack in bathroom kept falling out of its brackets & we found a used washcloth hanging over the shower curtain rod which made us wonder how thoroughly the bathrm was cleaned. Woken up by our upstairs neighbor whose footsteps creaked our ceiling so loudly, it sounded as if...

Had to go to Troy on business and usually try to book Marriott. It was easy to find off the main road. Located right next to a Hampton Inn and a Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Several fast food options also nearby. The property was really quiet, not a lot of cars in the parking lot that day. Check in...

This was a solid hotel to stay with nice rooms and a really nice common area in the lobby. Eating breakfast in the morning is a bit confusing, but the meeting space is good and the people working there are kind and helpful.

I am a regular traveler and Marriott has been my first choice for hotels. At check in the staff was very friendly and helpful. The following morning I had breakfast at the Bistro. That was a very unpleasant experience. The person behind the counter couldn’t have been more negative. A guest right after me got into an argument about their...

Thank you for your response. I was very sorry to hear of your experience both at the Bistro and Front Desk. This is not typical of the level of service we usually provide, and without your survey, we may or may not have had an opportunity to correct this behavior. Rest assured we will address it immediately. Thank you,

There are only three things I look for in a hotel like this. A staff member at or near the front desk to serve customers who want to do basic things like check in, check out, etc; a place to grab coffee/breakfast that opens when it is supposed to; and newspapers. This place went 0 for 3. Cafe was supposed...

Last minute booking for trip from Florida to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Typical Courtyard hotel. Room was clean, bathroom clean, rates were average for the area. The only downside I noticed was the strange odor (stench) in the hallways; it smelled like stale body odor. I have experienced some carpet cleaners that leave a similar odor but not as strong as this....

We ended up at the Courtyard when our usual Hotel was unavailable, as was every other decent Hotel in Troy because it was SOTS Alumni Weekend. The reason the Courtyard was still available was becasue it's rates were twice everyone elses, and no special rates seemed to be availlable (AARP - Government - Etc). So rather than stay miles away...
