I have stayed multiple times at the Yellowhammer, now Jack Warner Inn. The recent changes are nothing shy of perfection. A true active museum setting with the comforts of home. Most of the time it has been game day weekends and the prices are far cheaper than the cheapest "dive" in Tuscaloosa the way they gouge on those weekends. The...

For the price of this hotel it is a complete disappointment. About 15 minutes from the university, it is a easy ride out to the hotel. The rooms are dark (very little light) and an old appearance. In our particular room the air was set on 66 and it would never cool down, just blew humid air the entire time....

Booked here for a ballgame weekend, so it was $300 per night. I don't know what the regular rates are, as they are not available online. First, the setting is beautiful - kind of like a lodge set back in the woods. It is an older hotel that has been nicely renovated. Breakfast is included, which consists of bacon, biscuits,...

The facilities at the Yellowhammer Inn were perfect for our needs, and the staff could not have been any kinder or more accommodating! The general manager, both desk clerks, and every other staff member we dealt with were amazing: competent, considerate, and efficient! The Yellowhammer Inn is a treasure, and we will definitely be back!

On our recent trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama we booked accommodations at the Yellowhammer Inn. This was our first visit to the Inn and although it had been highly recommended it far exceeded our expectations. The general manager, Mr. Cunningham went out of its way to inform us of the history and fine facilities at the complex. The staff and quality...

We were greeted with gracious hospitality by a fantastic staff, each one very helpful and friendly, especially Caleb, who not only made us feel welcome, but went the "extra mile" . He helped with wedding transports and served as a very informative tour guide to the gorgeous "Jack Warner mansion". Our rooms were clean, elegant and comfortable. Yellowhammer is a...

I had the opportunity to stay there for a wedding recently. The new GM - Caleb Cunningham is the most delightlful and professional young man I came across in my entire visit to Alabama. He and his staff went above and beyond in every way possible to accommodate our group. From taking us on private tours of the most beautiful...

This Inn is gorgeous, and is situated in a very peaceful relaxing and "wooded" setting. This was our second visit. Impeccably clean rooms, friendly staff. Caleb, the General Mgr. went above and beyond to take care of guests -- even acting as personal chauffeur for those in need. While my schedule did not allow, many others took historic tours around...

Whether you are looking to relax with your spouse or vacation with the family at the pool, look no further. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and elegant. The inn was perfect for our group of family and friends in town to celebrate a wedding in nearby Tuscaloosa. The inns general manager was jovial and hospitable for the entirety of our...

Was in town for a wedding. The inn is in a beautiful woodsy setting with pleasant walking paths and outdoor lounging areas. The apothecary lounge is a comfortable place for buffet breakfast or just hanging out with other guests. Caleb, the General Manager, and other staff are well versed in the history and culture of the inn. If you have...
