My son and I stayed for 5 Days there due to a flying problem. The place is charming, the swimming pool and its mango tree, the terrasse for the breakfast. the bedroom was clean and spacious. The staff was so nice with us. All of the receptionist were really helpfull. The breakfast team with Marcela was so nice. By the...

During our recent trip to Costa Rica we have chosen Hotel Mango in Alajuela for our last night stay because its proximity to airport and rental car agency. First it looked good, check-in process was relatively smooth and we were given keys for Room #3. It was late night already, we were tired after spending the whole day on the...

A family run place with very nice owners and staff. The hotel was spotless and the included breakfast ample. Under the shade of the mango tree, the pool was rather cool. Jets stop flying overhead at about 6PM.

We stayed in Hotel Mango for just one day/night before our flight out of SJO, and were very pleased! Hotel Mango looks much more understated from the street than the nearby Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn and Suites, but don't let the street side fool you- once you get inside you'll be pleasantly surprised by a simple but elegant reception...

Great hotel, very close to the airport. We were looking for a place to stay for the night and this could not have been better. They serve a great breakfast (Costa Rica style or American style) right to your table. The room was very clean, cool and comfortable. Great price for a last minute choice. I would highly recommend this...

We came upon this nice little hotel upon the recommendation of a clerk at the Holiday Inn, where the last room had just been taken before we walked in. We were pleasantly surprised and it is so convenient to the airport. In fact, next time we go to CR, we will try to stay here. They provide a nice breakfast...

Hotel Mango is close to the San Jose airport and the Hampton and Holiday Inn but less expensive and with its own charm. The courtyard has a nice swimming pool and breakfast area. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is very help and always there to open the gate.

I've been traveling to Costa Rica since 2003. Every time I fly in and out of SJO I always stay at Hotel Mango, great prices, clean rooms, and free transport to and from the airport! Highly recommend this place! Pura Vida!

Some friends recomend me this restaurant in Santa Ana because of the good food and nice atmosphere. Something that really like me was the chef use fresh and organic ingredients not common in the cuisine. I visit the restaurant with my family and they really like it. Try the sirloin with coffee Sauce or the sweet morron chily covered with...

This was honestly one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. I dare you to find anything dirty in the room, hall, or dining area. The breakfast was also very nice, and free: eggs, fruit, rice and beans. The staff is also a huge plus. They were genuinely nice and helpful. They also provide free shuttle to the airport....
