Did exactly what it should do - offer us a bed to sleep in and a breakfast before heading off. Tiny rooms, decent breakfast i;a pleasant garden. Three minutes from the airport, good for a late arrival or early departure. Friendly staff who spoke little English.

What a sweet little place with only 10 lovely clean rooms. There is a beautiful little pool/courtyard area. A egg rice bean and fruit breakfast is included. Six dollar taxi ride from the airport. Highly recommend it.

We booked this hotel our last night as we arrived in Alajuela for our flight the next day. It was raining, traffic was crazy and this place happened to be right next to Adobe car rental. So glad we chose here- next time we will book in advance. Parking area has about 5 tight spots however the parking area is secured behind a gate and offers a very safe feeling when out there. Enily (I probably spelled that wrong) was AMAZING! She helped us order our food from the menus in the lobby and facilitated the delivery, even brought the food to our room rather than calling us to come get it like agreed upon. She was a pleasure to be around and always smiling. The pool and garden provided a comfortable environment for a small area. Umbrellas were located throughout the hotel for use in the rain. Our room was clean and came equipped with air conditioning (which wasn’t really needed) and hot water. Small tables and chairs outside the room were available to use as well. Typical breakfast served in the morning with water, coffee or juice.

This little hotel is a real gem! We had 2 rooms for ourselves and our son and his wife. First, the hotel is immaculate! I believe it’s family owned and they clearly take pride in their property! Beautiful little court yard area with a very nice pool! Plenty of hot water! The beds were a tad firm, but I like my bed that way and we all slept well. Of course, it right by the airport and you will hear planes, but it didn’t disturb my sleep at all. Breakfast is included and made to order, they’ll ask you what time you want to eat..fruit, coffee, juice, eggs, pinto de gallo..fresh made. I have no idea why anyone would pay twice as much for the holiday inn airport!

This hotel was a great place to stay after our flight into Costa Rica. We arrived pretty late, around 11pm, and someone was there to check us in. He was very friendly. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and the shower had hot water. Our room didn't have any windows to the outside but, that was fine because we just needed a place to sleep before a shuttle picked us up at 9am. The breakfast was great: fruit, coffee, eggs, juice, and toast. There is a nice pool in the back but we didn't use it. Even though the hotel is close to a busy street, our room was quiet. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport and the cab fare was just a few dollars. We felt completely safe in the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

As soon as I arrived, the hospitality was obvious. Both ladies were asking what they could do to make my stay better. This hotel might be rated 3.5 starts, but the staff turn it into 5 stars. The location is also optimal near to the airport making it an excellent starting and finishing hotel. That morning I had a 06:35 flight and they arranged a cab the night before ($5 USD) at 04:45. It was a smooth process and the cab showed up on time. The hotel staff even brewed a cup of coffee while I was waiting for the cab. The staff is also very proficient in English which makes up for my non-existent Spanish. Rooms were small, basic, but clean.

A great stay! Only a few minutes from the airport with a gate for safety features that helps ease the mind of anyone getting in! Staff is great and helps accommodate to the best of their abilities! My group arrived at the hotel very late at night after a long plane ride, there was no restaurants or cafes open in the area. The staff had drinks, coffee, and tea available and even offered to make a plate of fruit for us! I came with a group of 6 people and had reserved a car for 500 USD. When we arrived at the car rental company, the company tried to charge us 2,700 USD for the car. We were left without a car for our 10 day trip, however the staff got into contact with a local rental car company and was able to get us an upgraded car for less than half the price. My stay was great! Wonderful staff! Would recommend to anyone!

The hotel is located just a few blocks from SJO airport. It is close to different restaurants and bars, and they will recommend the best eating close by too. Had the opportunity to meet the owner (a very nice lady) who recommended an excellent restaurant to have dinner close by... Follow their recommendations! The hotel is very cozy. The room was super clean and the decoration was great. The breakfast was excellent! Will definitely use it every time I need to travel from SJO from now on.

We originally just wanted something close to the airport, but this hotel turned out to be so much more than that. The rooms are clean, the breakfast in the morning is yummy and Carolina is THE BEST! She gave us advice on what to do, where to go and even encouraged us try new foods at breakfast. We'll be going back to this hotel next time we visit Costa Rica! (Also, this is located right next to Adobe car rental so it made arriving in the middle of the night a breeze!)
