Jody and her husband were wonderful hosts. We wanted a place close to the airport for an early morning flight and this was perfect. They ordered pizza for us when we arrived late at night and took us at 5am to the airport. The rooms are really comfortable too.

First trips to new countries are always a challenge and when we're going to a new spot for the first time we really like to find a bed and breakfast that can make our landing just a little bit softer by picking us up at the airport, helping us get a local SIM, and helping us shake off the mental...

We were looking for a place near SJO for an early morning flight and we weren't disappointed. The owner picked us up from the airport, offered to drive us to a restaurant or grocery store, and drove us back to the airport the next morning. Given our early departure, she packed a fresh, healthy, and hearty to-go breakfast. We enjoyed...

My husband and I stayed a night on either end of our trip to Costa Rica at Casa Marin. We were traveling with our kids (8&11). We were picked up at the airport by a very friendly man named Wilson who was easily identified by a sign with our name and escorted to a very comfortable clean van. As soon...

My partner and I decided to celebrate her 60th birthday at the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Our flight into the main airport in Costa Rica landed after the last flight to the Osa Peninsula, so we needed a place to stay in Alajuela on the first night and also on the last night before heading back home. We researched...
