Our family stayed here for a night to catch an early morning flight out. The lovely, garden-like grounds are well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The room was very clean, but not spacious for a family of four—my choice though to save a few dollars! We didn’t use the pool as it was raining and cool, but there is a wildlife rescue center/zoo in the neighborhood that made for an excellent late afternoon activity. Our flight was too early for us to have breakfast, which was included. What made our stay here exceptional was Jess…she went above and beyond in mailing my daughter’s glasses back to us. Excellent customer service!

What an amazing Oasis within 15 minutes of the airport. We felt so lucky to end our vacation staying one night here so that we were close to the airport but still felt like we were in Costa Rica! Beautiful gardens, pool, full breakfast on the patio, and very clean and spacious rooms. Super friendly staff and service. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Costa Rica.

A lovely friendly clean little hotel with charming bungalow rooms and a nice pool. Helpful staff who were attentive and kind. Each room is beautifully decorated and the gardens were stunning. It’s a great place to relax before or at the end of any trip from or to San Jose. You feel very shut off from the city here (in a good way) and yet you are pretty close to stuff

We loved our stay here! I was organizing a group of 9 people to stay at Hotel La Rosa de America and they were beyond helpful with organizing us. Jessica and the others at the front desk were very thorough and quick to respond via email. They made everything very easy. They picked us all up from the aiport in 3 different groups. They even kept the kitchen open late so we could all eat. It was such a cute dining area with a delicious candle-lit dinner. The facilities were clean and the property was beautiful and tucked away. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here two nights at the end of our vacation. The room was small for the four of us, but clean. There were very few guests and the desk attendant told us we would need to make a reservation if we wanted to eat in the restaurant. We chose to eat at the local sodas. The location provided many different places to eat. The pool was clean and the grounds were gorgeous. We had rented a car and had to be buzzed in and out each time we left or returned. This was difficult during rainstorms because you have to get out of the car to press the button to alert the attendant. Also, in our room, the wifi did not work. Due to how the rooms are set up, some do not have good signals.

This is maybe a 20 minute ride from the airport through congested streets. The grounds of the hotel are quite nice with a welcoming pool. The rooms are a bit dated with somewhat garish flourecent lighting, breakfast just OK, no free shuttle service

Really enjoyed the garden and nicely maintained rooms. Unpretentious family feel. Stayed on arrival and when we left. Friendly staff! The murals in every room are different, paintings everywhere that blend in with the flowers. Breakfast is basic but all you need.

What a beautiful hotel. Lots of flowers and plants on the property adding to the view. The parking is very save and behind a locked gate. Staff is amazing and very helpful and friendly. I would say the only down side is restaurant. Very small portions and was not my favorer in taste. But the location is by many restaurants with lots of options. This was such a breeze getting to the airport in the morning as well. What a good find.. Beds were cozy and rooms very clean as well.

We stayed for one night on our way to Montezuma and found the hotel to be absolutely delightful. The restaurant was fantastic, the staff was warm and friendly, the gardens lovely and the accommodations were perfect for our family of four. I would absolutely stay again any time we need to overnight in San Jose.
