This backpackers resort has tents, hostile rooms and cylinder rooms. We slept in a cylinder and it was a cool experience that very interesting people. There is a pool on site walking distance to everything in downtown Arenal, and they serve a good breakfast for a modest cost.

We had a great stay at Arenal Backpacker's Resort. We opted for the private room with private bathroom which felt like being in a hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, the shower was hot and had good water pressure. We also had AC in the room. The location of the hostel was great, right in the downtown area and walkable to shops/restaurants. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Highly recommend this place and would stay again!

Can’t recommend this place enough! Great central location, the staff is so friendly and happy to schedule any and Al outings. The pool area is great to socialize and meet other travelers. I can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay ! Incredible pool and bar ! The staff is super helpfull ! I recommend it for sure. It was very easy to find and it looks like a little heaven hidden in the middle of the palm ! Good vibe !

My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights while exploring the Arenal area. Great walking distance to the restaurants in La Fortuna. Nice pool with a social bar/restaurant area. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We stayed in the safari tents and loved it! The bed was comfortable and the tent was very roomy. The tent was lockable and there was a safe so we didnt have to worry about our stuff. The pool area was so nice! Breakfast was cheap and good! Staff very friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arenal Backpackers Resort! The rooms were impeccably neat and clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The hostel itself was adorned with a beautiful garden, a refreshing pool, and a delightful bar area. We would definitely choose to stay here again

We had a very nice time in Arenal Backpackers Resort! The rooms were tidy and clean, the personal was so friendly and the hostel by itself with the pool, the bar area the garden was very beautiful. Would stay here definitely again!

The location is great, the site, pool, and common areas are all really nice and well-manicured and look great. The staff was very helpful, the pod rooms are very cute and the a/c was well appreciated, there is not much room for luggage in the pods, so plan accordingly :) They have lots of tour plans available at the front desk and the parking lot is gated which gives you peace of mind if you have to store things there. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the volcano, waterfalls, hikes, and hot springs!
