Adorable cottages with air conditioning. We had two double rooms. Double beds and remodeled bathrooms with shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in bathroom. Gorgeous grounds. Walked into town-15 minutes. Very hot during our stay-plan accordingly. Pool was wonderful. Good buffet breakfast. Very sweet & accommodating staff. Felt very private. Road noise but not terrible. Authentic soda/cafe about 5 minute walk- coffee/smoothie/sandwich/etc. Yum!

Our stay at the Country Inn in April 2023 was an exceptional experience. The resort is family run and the owners and staff were extremely accommodating during our 1 week stay. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We were able to view many birds amongst the many trees and bushes surrounding our room. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. A fridge helped with leftovers. The resort provided a hardy Costa Rican breakfast every morning and the village of La Fortuna was only a few minutes away and had numerous restaurants to choose from for lunches and dinners. The pool was exceptional, always clean and surrounded by lush plants with a view of the Arenal volcano, you couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting. We highly recommend this charming resort.…

This is a gem of a find. From the Friendly staff at checking, to the beautiful manicured grounds that feels like you're in a jungle, the warm clean pool the stay was enjoyable. We had booked 2 nights but decided to stay 3. The rooms are small but the beds are comfortable and it was all we needed. The breakfast was amazing and as a Canadian I appreciated the Canadian maple syrup.

Such stunning gardens ! And what a view of Arenal. The place was beautiful, just to sit & chill ! The room was very small with two big queen beds. & a rather large round table. So that gave us no space to keep our bags. A little verandah outside with a seat was definately a boon. Breakfast was buffet and good. Whatever shortcomings the tiny room had - it was compensated with the hospitality of the owner & stunning garden & views

My sister and I are repeat guests at ACI. We keep returning as we have had nothing but a good experience. The staff are great, very helpful. The groundskeeper let us know when he saw anything of note on the grounds. It is located on the outskirts of La Fortuna, but is close enough to walk downtown. There are restaurants and a grocery store within easy walking distance. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.and attract a wide variety of birds, sloths and iguanas. The beautiful , clean pool is a welcome feature. The included breakfast was really good. Try the pancakes with real Canadian maple syrup! As repeat guests, the staff made us feel like family!

The room was good. It was a quiet area easily walkable into a bustling town with great restaurant choices. The pool was rather cold but the few children around didn’t mind. The only negative for us was the breakfast. There was not much choice.

Breakfast consists of coffee or tea, with milk or black, toast, marmalade and butter, fresh tropical juice, two types of fresh fruit, eggs, sweet plantains, rice and beans, one type of sausage, one type of vegetable in "picadillo", pancakes, maple syrup...all you can eat...I am very sorry, but to us, this is a breakfast with a lot of options. Yes, we do not have a restaurant on-site, but you get special deals in two different restaurants that are located within 250 and/or 350 meters away, plus you can order to deliver to your room with a menu provided by the hotel. I beg your pardon but I would say there is not much to argue about the food service. Thanks for confirming everything else was fine for you.

Quiet and pleasant Arenal Country Inn hotel. Away and private, but within walking distance to the busy town center. Adriana arranged all our day trips, tours, and the extra details that we asked for. All worked out smooth and wonderful. Will definitely stay there again

We had to move our 4 night stay last minute to Arenal Country Inn after arriving at our booked hotel and it being not as advertised. Country Inn greeted us warmly even though we arrived late at night. Our room was clean and we always had hot water in the shower for our family of 4. The included breakfast was a buffet of fruit, eggs, pancakes, rice & beans, plantains, toast, fruit juice and coffee. We utilized the laundry service as we had clothes that were soaked from an excursion and returned that evening to them clean and folded in our room. Front desk Alicia and all employees we encountered were friendly and always helpful. The hotel is close to town and plenty of food options. We would stay here again!

We fully enjoyed our time at Arenal Country Inn!! From the moment we booked our reservation, Adriana (the proprietor) and staff were extremely accommodating. Everyone made sure that we had everything we needed and were very helpful in arranging our activities (i.e: rainforest hikes, white water rafting, etc). The hotel is immersed in true tropical rainforest beauty, with colorful flora and exotic birds, but it is also nearby the town centre (within walking distance). We would definitely come back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
