My family and I spent four nights at this beautiful place. We loved all the flowers, trees and birds throughout the property. The pathways and little bridges made it seem like you were in a fairy tale and the toadstool lights only added to the feeling of having been dropped off in Wonderland. Our room was immaculate and all the...

The burrow wakes up at 5am, the rooster at 4am, chickens around 6 and the birds at 630am. Can't say enough about the soothing hot springs, accommodating staff, relaxing spa, quick tasty breakfast and view of volcano. Many activities, don't miss the German Restaurant and chapel. Recommend horseback riding. Pure joy and we travel a lot!

We really liked the hot springs here (there were 4 or 5) so we didn't need to pay to go to any other hot springs. It was nice to be able to take a dip in them every day so close to our hotel. The rooms were nice as well except there were bugs everywhere-all over our nightstand, counter, bathroom...

We really enjoyed this place. There are individual Casitas and they are fairly large. Beds are comfortable. Comes with a refrigerator. Breakfast of fresh fruit yogurt and granola and eggs to order. The hot springs is on the grounds and there is a beautiful spa facility. Great for couples and families.

When planning a family vacation, trying to make everyone happy we booked 2 nights at Hotel El Silencio del Campo and 4 nights at an all inclusive. If I had it to do over again, I would have booked more time at Hotel El Silencio del Campo. The area has so much to do and the hotel was great, location...

This was our first stop in Costa Rica and it set a very high bar. Everything was phenomenal. The hot springs were perfect and quite private, since we came in May, which was a great time to visit btw. The staff were so friendly and the food, especially the free breakfast, was fantastic. Truly an amazing experience and we can't...

This is a beautiful small resort. The bungalows are beautiful (the photos on Trip Advisor don't do them justice), the landscaping is incredible, and the staff obviously takes great pride in their service. What really sets this place apart though, are the hot springs. They are beautifully constructed and landscaped, with several private pools so you can relax and have...

This is a perfect choice for exploring La Fortuna area: excellent accommodation, beautiful setting, welcoming reception desk and restaurant, and good location. The villas are spacious, with high ceilinged rooms so it feels airy (and if, like us, you prefer to avoid using air conditioners it is possible to do so); there is a good sized, efficient fridge; and the...

We loved our stay here! I don't think you could choose better for the area and at such a reasonable rate. The landscaping is beautiful and the chalets are spacious and well decorated; it was very luxurious. The breakfast is excellent; be sure to try the huevos rancheros w/ added rice and beans and extra tortillas. We stayed in cabin...

Thanks to Elio for making our stay at El Silencio so enjoyable, he was an invaluable source of advice & so happy to help. The chalets are really spacious & well equipped, all have Volcano views and the onsite hot springs are the icing on the cake. A great place to stay.
