Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it immensely. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was great. Very clean and everything worked without issues. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Ate a few meals at the restaurant and bar as well which were good as well, if you're not intersted in venturing out after a day of...

We booked our stay at Hotel El Silencio based on other reviews from Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The villas are clean and have all that you need. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and there are hot springs pools on site. The view of the volcano from the grounds was beautiful! We received such good service from the staff...

We loved our stay at El Silencio. The private cabins are beautiful and well equipped. The hot springs on the property were lovely, the grounds, flowers, birds....I can't say enough good about the place. The staff is top notch. After we checked out and arrived at our next destination in San Jose, I realized I left my purse behind in...

All rooms are individual cottages -very convenient to have hot springs on site that you could take a quick short walk to before you retire or in the morning before venturing out .The hot springs at Tabacon were far bigger and grander and worth seeing but for guests staying there seemed a hike to walk across or take a shuttle...

Our family (two adults and kids ages 17, 12, and 10) absolutely loved this hotel. The staff at the front desk was so nice, especially Ilene. She really went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. The hot springs are amazing, and breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Definitely try the mud mask (which is free) at the...

We are a family of 4 and stayed at Silencio del Campo for two nights. The staff is wonderful and the room is quite comfortable. If you are going to be out during the day doing tours / adventure and not expecting to hang out the entire day at the hotel then this is a great place to stay.

We spent 4 nights there while exploring the area. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are as shown. Very clean and spacious. It's a bit outside of town but cabs are reasonable and easy to book. Really enjoyed our stay

I agree with many of these positive reviews. What I wanted to point out is that this phase is beautifully landscaped with all different types of flowers and trees. It was such pleasure to just walk around and admire the beautiful surroundings. The pictures do not do it justice. There are 5 pools altogether: 4 hot, 1 cold in addition...

Lots of good hotels in Arenal; none seemed outstanding. Very happy we chose El Silencio. Centrally located on the road west of La Fortuna and north of the volcano. Very pleasant cabins on the grounds are a much better alternative to some of the big multi-story hotels nearby. Staff uniformly friendly and professional. Multiple hot spring baths adjacent to the...

I was literally giddy with excitement as Jen was showing us around the beautiful grounds to our room. The cabins are spacious, comfortable with 3 beds, and quiet at night...perfect for our family! The hot spring pools and bar patio area are straight out of a paradise movie, an excellent way to relax in the afternoon after the day's activities...
