Convenient location and adequate room at a very good price for Costa Rica suitable for a single night stay. Staff were actually helpful but it does feel like a bit of a motel. Very cheap though for an acceptable room.

I stayed in Hotel Liberia before, and it was nice, clean and affordable. i didnt reserve unfortunately so i had to look for an alternative as there was no room there, i came across hotel guanacaste. This place is a hole, the staff was unfriendly, and the room extremely tiny and overpriced. The only benefit was that it was close...

This hotel is more an hostel than an hotel. the cleanliness is poor and the room looks like a prison and you have the feeling to sleep on the floor cause the mattress are so thin... Moreover, i could not sleep because of the noise of the karaoké party at the restaurant of the hotel and we were thursday and...

Would not recommend this place. Shabby decor and maintenance, horrible hill and many steps to the pool and restaurant, no immediate beach access from hotel and lacking security. Nice people & nice view from upper level rooms but that's not nearly enough. Better to pay more and get more.

My boyfriend and I were backpacking on a budget and flew into Liberia. This was one of the cheapest places we could find when we showed up to the airport - I think we paid around $35 a night, When we arrived in our room we dumped our bags and went to eat. When we returned, there were bedbugs crawling...

Very unfriendly girl at the receptionat night. Waitress hides as she sees you approche the bar to order a drink, Rooms are small and far from clean. Didn't she the coke dealer offering prostitutes mentioned in an other post, but I wouldn't have surprised me. For $35 there are far better options. Best thing about it is cheking out.

We paid more at this hotel than other hotels in other locations during our 3 week stay in Costa Rica. We were shown a very small room, with a private bathroom. The room was not as clean as we would have liked, and there was only cold water in the shower. The shower head did not exist and the water...

The only good thing about this place is that it is close to a bus station that will get you out of there quick. They charge you significantly higher than their list prices, and then say they haven't updated their webpage in years, and I should have noticed that, as if its my job to check it. It's not that...

After reading the Tripadvisor reviews, I was reluctant to stay here but with limited options decided to give it a go for a night. We were pleasantly surprised - the hotel is fine for a night or two. It is in a good location, close to McDonalds and Burger King. 2 blocks from the public bus station. We walked to...

“The rooms facing the trees were awesome, you could see the monkeys in the trees and it was far enough away from the entertainment.”

“Do not stay in the Jungle room as you will hear the monkeys all night if you are a light sleeper. There was three of us Adults staying in a room and we asked to have a family room which was one king bed and a double, other than that you will get a room with two double beds stuck together. Make sure your patio door is closed tight in order for the A/C to work. Ocean view is always the best!”
