We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at El sol verde. Definite recommendation for staying while visiting Rincon National Park, which was also great! Gerrad made us feel welcomed right from the first minute. He gave us all the information we needed for the next couple days. Our room was quiet, exemplarily clean and nicely furnished. I would recommend having breakfast...

El Sol Verde was a fantastic place to stay when visiting Rincon de la Vieja NP. We stayed in a tent house. It was really clean, and after the heavy rainstorms we experienced while there, I can also stay that it was completely waterproof. The mattresses are really comfortable too; we slept really well. El Sol Verde is in a...

We stayed two nights in one of their two tent houses. On the evening we arrived, Gerard gave us a map of the village and the national park, together with some information, which is positive. There are two restaurants in the village, you can walk to, but we definitely liked one of the two more: we felt a lot more...

Three friends and I stayed here during the first week of our vacation. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The property is beautiful...a peaceful, quiet setting! Every morning we were awakened to the sounds of birds singing. Gerard and Ingrid were excellent hosts. Our first morning after breakfast, they took time to share information about sights to see in...

We stayed at El Sol Verde for two nights and we liked it very much. We stayed at their tent and we slept very well. Ingrid and Gerard are very nice people, who will help you with everything you need. They gave us very good hints, we did nearly everything they recommended us (also in other parts of the country)....

We stayed at El Sol Verde for 3 nights, one night in a room and 2 nights in the tent cabin; both were very clean and we loved staying in the tent cabin! Gerard and Ingrid were extremely welcoming and sat down with us to explain the area and answer any questions we had. They really go above and beyond...

El Sol Verde is a simple place. As far as I understood, it offers 3 rooms (and some additional huts and campground). The rooms are basic and have everything you need. Accordingly, the owners charge a reasonably basic price, making this a very good price/quality tradeoff. The hotel is located on the road to Rincón de la Vieja, and there...

Loved the local location, wonderful hosts and great accommodations. It was my favorite part of our 2 weeks backpacking trip. Ofi was awesome for local transportation and their dog was so cute, he followed us wherever we went. Beautiful place overall.

I stayed at El Sol Verde with my boyfriend in January. We stayed in a tent house and it was very comfortable. Time there was relaxing and quiet... just what you are looking for in a "nature" holiday. Gerard and Ingrid are great hosts. They take good care of you in all senses: nice breakfast, good indications and recommendations. Social...

El sol Verde is really a campground and not a lodge. It has space for campers and also has tent houses for those who want to camp but are not carrying a tent. It advertises itself also as a lodge, but the "lodge" area does not have any accommodations which one expects from a lodge. Our room was very small,...

We were expecting your review. A pity that you did not mention here on tripadvisor, what you told us, that you liked our place and also our hospitality. Also you didn't mention you booked a room for 8 nights a couple of months in advance and after staying two nights you cancelled the other 6 nights. Not because you didn't...
