Detailed Reviews
I went for lunch yesterday, we had ceviche and pizza. Both dishes were fantastic, and while waiting for lunch to be made, enjoyed a swim in the very well kept pool. Staff were super friendly, covid compliant with great service.

We ate dinner and enjoyed happy hour several times at Condor Lodge...they make wonderful wood oven baked pizza as well as local Tico dishes and of course, many American choices.
In addition to the great food, we met and visited with the owners (GREAT people!) as well as meeting lots of fellow travelers.

Great place for bed bugs and a mattress older then me. The view is nice. The room just a step above a prison cell. Worst place I have stayed. Food is marginal and over priced, but luckily Big Mama is down the street.

Loved my stay here! It is high up on a hill overlooking the ocean. There are three beaches right by the lodge. All are waking distance. In the mornings you can hear all the howler monkeys in the jungle. Lots of birds are on the property too. If you are looking for a great place that is not a resort, then this is the place for you. It is a short distance from Brasilito which has multiple restaurants and activities.

We actually stayed next door at some villas and tried to eat at the Condor several times. The fact that the three times we ate there we were the only people should have been a red flag.....we went at different times of the day. They are a sinking ship....!!!
I understand that it is american owned and I sincerely wish they would contact me. Look employ me!! Not looking to take anyone's job- I would love to just cook here looking to move to CR. think about it. Even if you just want an honest conversation....contact me.
This place needs help, the place looks run down and dated. The food is hardly edible! I ordered a burger it had oregano and parsley and ?? not sure what in it- the flavor was terrible.NO mustard anywhere on the premises, they brought ketchup and mayo at least I think it was mayo. Could hardly eat it. The fridge behind the bar is old and rusty. This place makes me crazy it could be a real gem with even a fresh uplift in paint colors.... And a simple menu...We also had nachos suppose to have chicken on it, maybe a thimble full, again liquid beans, liquid cheese, tomato, lettuce and some white sauce which tasted like mayo!!! Terrible. Pizza was fair at at best. Im no chef but if you are looking for advice on simple edible food contact me and sincere help... you could really turn this place around with some specials and beach advertising. It's sad that no one is trying to make a go of it. Wonderful view and location....zero business.........thats crazy- if this is not a tax right off then someone needs to get on this.dlawdawn@hotmail
Palapa near the pool is falling apart...dont know who wrote the other reviews but it certainly was not accurate about this place.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel, restaurant, and it's staff & owners. They bent over backwards to give me and my new wife an Amazing Honeymoon.
It may be rated as a 3 star but it our experience was 5 Star!! Tito(Alexander) worked double duty as reception during day and bar tender at night. He really made us feel at home. The owners helped us locate beach chairs & boogey boards to use at the beach and helped with directions to little know local beaches where we spent most of the week with no one else in sight. The wood fired fresh made pizza and local food (cazados) were amazing! We will definitely be back for another stay!!!!
