We had to take a taxi from the main street to Casa Lora (it doesn't appear on the town map) but it was well worth it. Although we didn't have reservations, Sabine welcomed us inside the gates to show us her apartments. They have 2 types of units - studio apartments and the houses. We opted to rent a house...

Casa Lora Apartments was a great place to stay for our recent Visa run from Nicaragua. We were two couples traveling together and stayed in one of the little houses. We found the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable (one couple slept on the futon). Everywhere was immaculate and we loved the lush tropical feel of the...

This is a nice budget option if you want to stay in the Playa de Coco area but not in one of the fancy and expensive resorts. It's located in a residential area, but just a short walk to two supermarkets and plenty of places that can organize excursions for you. The place has a small kitchen area in case...

My wife and I stayed at Casa Lora, April 10-13. Sabine and Peter are great hosts. Both very friendly, and maintain a very beautiful piece of property. The property is gated in and locked and very safe. We loved walking the neighborhood, where you will see lots of chickens, roosters, dogs, cats, bull frogs, howler monkeys, and a lot of friendly...

They always had a few moments to chat and were most helpful with local info. The property is clean and...

A real gem! Casa Lora truly is a lush tropical oasis with its beautiful gardens, tantalizingly cool pool and entertaining garden wildlife. Right from the warm welcome on arrival, Peter and Sabine make sure that your stay is as comfortable and happy as possible. We stayed 4 weeks! Highly recommended.

What a pleasant surprise, a tropical oasis with a real homey feeling. I immediately felt like one of the family. The apartment was nice with air conditioning, cable TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. A private deck overlooked the swimming pool. The landscaping that surrounded the apartments and the pool was very tropical. The shops and beach were within easy walking...
