Our stay at Cala Luna was nothing short of excellent! After reading some reviews before going we weren't expecting much from the beach on the property, but wow! The beach was beautiful, especially at sunset- which they give you a complimentary cocktail for daily. The beach is rocky and probably not swimmable, but it was much more beautiful than the...

We spent five nights at Cala Luna in a private villa and what a magnificent stay it was. The breakfast by the large pool had great selection with an omelette chef. The pineapple was to die for. We also would like to give our warm thanks to the super friendly staff, from reception to restaurants. Lush gardens that gave a...

Beautiful property, not directly on the beach, but a short walk away. A slightly longer walk to town, but the hotel will arrange transportation if desired. They will also help to arrange tours and excursions for a variety of activities. The rooms are actually individual cabanas, immaculate and comfortable, with small private patios set within the gardens and well secluded...

I enjoyed my stay at your property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that I was disappointed in was my friend and I booked facials on the same day at the front desk (mine was the 2nd appointment). I was 1st informed my friends treatment was running over . Then I was told it would be...

We chose Cala Luna because it was the kind of eco-luxury experience we enjoy. Having never been to Costa Rica, we picked the hotel based on description and overwhelmingly great reviews. We were not disappointed and loved every moment of our week long stay. It is truly a place where you enter vacation mode within a few hours and get...

Cala Luna was recommended to us by a friend who visits Costa Rica often and we were not disappointed. The location and ambiance is beautiful and the staff are amazing. We really could not have asked for a better experience and will stay there again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Cala Luna for 5 nights in a King suite. Beautiful lush grounds. It's just down the road from Tamarindo (which made it perfect for us, close enough but quiet) An excellent resort to unwind after the hustle of Tamarindo. All the staff was outstanding: Friendly, professional and inviting. Rodolfo at guest services was great. They really understand...

Cala Luna is a beautiful property set amongst lush tropical greenery, an amazing variety of wild animals including howler monkeys and toucans, and incredible pacific sunsets. We stayed in a wonderful 3-bedroom villa with it's own private pool. The villa was spacious, clean, wonderfully decorated, and provided everything that we needed for our week long stay. The front desk staff...

The Cala Luna was out last stop of a 2 week trip to this wonderful country. It is a little out of town but only a 20 min walk and 5 min taxi ride. The location is lovely and we enjoyed a very large villa as a family of 4. The villa is big! 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, a...

The staff was very friendly but on our first night our room was infested with COCKROACHES. we immediately called the front desk and it took almost 30 minutes for them to come with bug spray. The staff did not seem concerned that this was disgusting and blamed it on the time of the year
