Just like they said, arrive as strangers, leave as family. TJ and Cinde are so welcoming, kind and helpful. They made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations were outstanding! Very clean and comfortable rooms and the small extras they provided (yummy muffins and fruit for breakfast, beach towels, sunscreen) were a great added touch. All the additional services...

We stayed at this hotel when we were in Tamarindo recently and I would have to start off by stating that the hosts are the best! Daily breakfast breads and juices are a great start! Cindy does a great job working to make the place have the feel of home!

Hi Lydia We are very happy that you and John had a good time. Yes TJ makes a mean chocolate banana bread. You never know who you might meet in the Rancho. Hopefully we'll see you both soon. The Octopus room is waiting for you. Cinde and Tj

We had booked a different room in Tamarindo, but when we arrived the room was so unacceptable that we checked out right away. We then checked out the Amarilla and luckily for us they had a room available for us. It is right on the ocean, with warm and welcoming hosts, other guests, surf instructors, massage therapists and tour guide....

We chose the Villa because it had great ratings, looked cool, and offered the opportunity to meet other travellers. We were NOT disappointed! Our hosts Cinde and TJ have built a beautiful, welcoming bohemian paradise for people who value a laid back, relaxing environment. Cinde greeted us with smiles and shots of tequila. We stayed in the Octopus room, which...

Best location in Tamarindo. Staff exceeded expectations and will stay here again. Morning coffee view of surf. Fruit, muffins, banana bread and coffee. Ambiance was really nice. You can stay next door at the Diria for $300 but you'll feel at home here.

We go to Costa Rica about twice a year and Tamarindo is one of our more popular stops. This hotel is our favorite place to stay when we are there. It is cozy, very friendly, and best yet it's on the beach. We will invite friends over a BBQ in the gated yard. As much as I love this place...

I hesitate to write this review because my haven will become too popular! I returned here with my 17 year old son to hang out on the beach for 8 days knowing that he would feel at home in the laid back atmosphere with easy access to the comforts of home. I was right, he loved it. Tamarindo caters to...

Cindy & TJ made me & my 7 y/o girl feel safe and at home the second we arrived. Never having been to CR, I was reluctant to book a non 'brand' hotel. We were both so glad we did. We've never had such an enjoyable experience and are truly grateful for the hospitality. We will definitely see you guys...
