If you cannot afford to stay on the beach then this is a reasonable place. It is about 2 long blocks to the beach. They have a small outdoor pool that is refreshing after a day at the beach. They play top 40 like music around the pool, which is kind of fun. They do include breakfast which was pretty...

The hotel was good, but the rooms are not very clean and the smell was not very good, the furniture and rooms were old, the bathroom was dirty, the shower was very small, the toilet was broken. Breakfast was good, but pancakes were too simple. The option of gallo pinto was delicious. The service was good, but it can be...

This was our first hotel on our backpackertrip to Costa Rica, and what an oase to find in a busy little town like tamarindo. Not to far from Central-Tamarindo either. We stayed there for 3 days. The little hotel had an really nice laidback atmposhere, the reeption looked like a good old hawai-bar and the staff really great and helpfull....

Really enjoyed our stay here. The small very clean pool was a welcome relief from the intense heat. The included breakfast choices were excellent and cooked to order each day. Resident iguanas also provided a bit of entertainment as they were fed when we were! Our ground floor room was comfortable and well furnished with a small shower room and...

We stayed in Hotel Mamiri for three nights while waiting for our rental house to open up. A wonderful small hotel feel with great hosts and staff. After wandering and exploring Tamarindo, we would end up with a drink relaxing by the pool. The rooms are quaint, clean and air conditioned. Breakfast is included and it is delicioius. Fresh fruit,...

I stayed for 3 weeks with family. We stayed in the villa (#11). Our room had three beds, double and single on the main floor and double in the loft. Our kitchen was located outside under a very large shelter. Kitchen was well equipped with plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. and we were able to make several meals during our...

Nice place and has AC. The owners are very nice and helpful. Staff is very hardworking. It's close to the beach, about 5 min walk, a grocery store, restaurant for dinner, and the bars (Sharkys). It's not really loud--some couples, some families, some party kids. Each room is different. I would recommend a top room. Has: 1. An okay breakfast...

Just got back from my stay at Mamiri. It's serene, cozy hotel that is in a great location in Tamarindo. It's not directly on the main strip, but that's what's nice about it. You're in walking distance to everything. We walked to the other end of the town almost daily...not a problem. There is also a lot to do near...

We booked last minute and got a great deal. The owner checked us in and he was so nice and personable. He also provided recommendations where to go out at night. The breakfast was great in the morning and the rest of the staff was friendly. It's not far from the bar or the beach. This is a very party...
