We stay there for 3 night in hot April-thanks to air con we survied the stay in Tamarindo. The room is very basic, small with no coffe maker in the room but there is one for everyone to use by reception. This is no front beach hotel but to get there you need min. 5 minut walk left. Watch out...

Thank you for taking the time to send this helpful review Barbara k! We will consider your review to help improve our guests stay. You must have missed the spectacular sunsets, they usually happen year round, but sometimes there is cloud covering but there is almost always a sunset. Pura Vida

We stayed here while at witches rock surf camp because they didn't have enough room in the main hotel. If you are a solo budget traveler and don't like the noise of the main strip, this could be a great place for you. If you are with small children like us, please note that the walk to the surf camp...

Hola! Thank you for your recent stay at our hotel. Your critique will be used as a valuable tool for us to improve our services. We are working with the local municipality to try to improve the pedestrian experience for people in Tamarindo. Again thank you for you’re your stay and your review. WRSC

Tamarindo is a busy place these days. Pueblo was a comfortable bed, in a quiet location, with amazing front desk staff. My room was right at the front, and I was worried about road noise. Fortunately the concrete construction meant it was quieter than many hotel rooms. I was not disturbed by the road noise at all. I was more...

The place is great. Are there small cosmetic things that could be fixed and polished? Sure, but remember that Tamarindo still has dirt roads in parts. The staff is the best! Wifi works great, limited cable. The little kitchen is a good resource - fridge and microwave. There are some nice sitting areas. The grounds are beautiful. Secret path down...

So the place is nice enough, nothing to write home about, nothing to complain too much about. It's ok. However, fire ants came in through the closet and were crawling on the walls. We told the front desk, but there was nothing they could do at night. (no maintenance person available). The next morning, a guy came and sprayed poison...

Stayed in the pueblo dorado for 7 nights as part of the surf package offered through Witches Rock down the street. Pro: kind staff, bare bones but rooms clean daily, breakfast included at Witches Rock. Cons: 5 minute walk to witches rock which is a bit of a pain bc there are no sidewalks and if it's raining you might...

We stayed here to attend the Witch’s Rock Surf Camp (WRSC). I have a lot of details in this review, but these are the things I wondered about when I was researching, so hope it helps! I give it 5 stars, not because it is a 5 star hotel, but I believe the value for money at this camp is...

Hotel staff was friendly, and clean room. Found giant ants crawling at night. I had an adjoining room and the occupants were noisy and woke up at the crack of dawn making more noise! I got only 4 hours of sleep. Place is convenient across the beach and walk to 2 local bars. I'm not sure I'd pick again unless...

My wife and I stayed at Pueblo Dorado hotel for a week while I was at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp (which owns the Pueblo Dorado). The hotel was clean and very attractive, with surf-themed artwork throughout, and a nice courtyard pool for lounging, away from the bustle of traffic on the road through Tamarindo. We felt safe and welcome throughout...

This is a 3-Star hotel. I gave it an excellent rating due to the overall value. I had signed up for a week of Surf Camp at Witches Rock so did not plan to spend much time in the hotel room. I was looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep for a low cost and that is what this...
