FULLY EQUIPPED . PRIVATE HOUSES . WITH POOL It all started with a 4 bedroom hotel that now grew into a 9 bedroom private house and 6 other rental houses. With a total of now 6 private houses for you to feel at home away from home. Hacienda JJ with 9 bedrooms can accommodate up to 32 people, on that same property but with lots of privacy there is Casa Papaya a studio type of house that can sleep up to 10 people. In the other property about a minute drive away you can find Casa Blanca with 4 bedrooms for up to 15 people, Casa Verde with 3 bedrooms and up to 12 people, Casa Leno with 2 bedrooms and up to 10 people and Casita Leno with 1 bedroom for up to 4 people (only one without a pool). All of our houses are fully equipped with kitchen, living room area with TV and WIFI, a pool and BBQ area.
Excellent place! A very nice cozy house, excellent service, very close to all the beaches of Tamarindo! My entire family was amazed by Casa Verde, it has private pool. Beautiful place! Recommended!

We have spent three nights at Hacienda JJ Bed & Breakfast and loved every minute there. The rooms are very modern with A/C, television, personal fridge and safe, plus a nice balcony. The bed& breakfast is surrounded by a beautiful garden with palm trees and flowers. The pool is very luxury and has even a bar area. What has made our stay particularly nice was the friendliness of the owner. He cares about his guests, prepares a good breakfast every morning and shares valuable insights about Costa Rica. The value for money is definitely high. It's a great place if you would like to stay in a quiet place, close to Tamarindo (12 minute drive).

My husband and I stayed for two wonderful nights at JJ's. Fantastic! We appreciated not being in the busy town of Tamarindo...but rather in the paradise of JJ's B and B. They have a secure place for your car, beautiful pool, swim up bar, fully equipped outdoor kitchen and lounge area. We appreciated enjoying our full Costa Rican breakfast by the pool overlooking their beautiful gardens. Rooms had great beds, balcony and I must say the BEST shower ever! (jets, rain head, hand held jet, music). We highly recommend enjoying a few days at JJ's.

I totally agree with rojicha07's review. The rooms are clean and reasonable, the pool lovely but the eating/kitchen could use some improvement. You need a vehicle to stay here if you want to get to the beaches easily. Owner is pleasant and helpful speaking Spanish and French.

A little place with big standards. They have exceptional cleaning service, and beautiful grounds. Bring bug spray and take note that breakfast is not included as is mentioned in some previous reviews. We have a young boy who just started walking and there were some concrete stairs that existed in the kitchen area- we were constantly on guard fielding him around them- then one day we came back and they had built a block off to the stairs! Wow! They had also repaired a plank that I kept stepping down on so my little guy wouldn't trip on the pool deck! Exceptional! I didn't ask for any of this- they just took note and did something. That is above and beyond.
Didn't bother us- but should say: on Saturday the house over in next lot had music pumping over some good speakers until wee hours of morn- but could kind of be drowned out by air con in room! Also to note: Not such great cooking tools for use but managed with our own sharp Swiss Army knife to take care of business...perhaps bring one yourself if you plan on chopping garlic or anything like that... All in all great place, actually better than most resorts I've seen around here... Thanks J,J and J and the great staff!

I loved everything. The host's were so kind and helpful to me as a solo traveler. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful landscaped grounds with parrots and other pretty birds flying in the trees. I loved the pretty banana tree near the pool, it was so pretty. Close to playa grande and all the great beaches in the area. The pool was refreshing and beautiful. I would go back for sure. I stayed 11 nights.

This place is great! Went there with some friends and we had an amazing time. Very private and close to all beaches, which was great for me since I'm a surfer! I highly recommend it, only 7 minutes from Tamarindo by car, so it's a very quite zone. perfect for a big group of friend, family or business trip! ooohh and Breakfast was delicious!

I just loved Hacienda JJ! He felt like home there! Everything is so clean and beautiful! Besides, the tranquility is total. The only sound you can hear is of birds singing. They have a great pool and jacuzzi! Definitely reccomend it!

We like it a lot. It is close to beautiful beaches and supermarkets. The host Estrella was so kind with all our requirements The place is big and safe, the swimming pool is great and clean, the rooms are confortable and the place offers a big green area to play or just to prepare a picnic and enjoy a bbq.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is really nice. The hosts Julie & Jean were very helpful and communicated very well. The property is very nice for those who want to cook their own food as well....it's a short drive to all the major beaches in the area...it's very peaceful also...we were on a short stay so Jean gave us a map and crisp itinerary of things to do..we really enjoyed our stay.

Hi, thank you for contacting us ! We will love to have your family here. We have no stairs in the hacienda. We are not equipped with ramps but when we get handicapped normally they choose the bathroom with a bath or we also have a shower with a small tool in it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hola! Es recomendado alquilar un carro para poder ir a visitar todas las playas alredor pero también pueden hacerlo con taxi o bus. Tamarindo centró esta a 8 minutos manejando de la hacienda, playa grande, langosta, conchal, brasilito .... Esta a uno 10/15 minutos y playa avellanas, negra, junquillal, Marbella... Esta a unos 20/25 minutos.
