Stayed at Casa Ciudadela for two nights at the beginning of our stay in Costa Rica. The staff was really welcoming, and even stayed late to check us in, because our flight was getting in after closing. We booked a double room with a private bathroom. Towels are not included in the price, but the room did have extra blankets...

I have never stayed at a hostel in my life, and coming from Calgary, Alberta CANADA, I had read many things about Costa Rica. Be Cautious, take all these meds, etc. etc. I loved staying at the hostel and went on many wonderful day trips to the ocean, snorkelling, Cafe Britt, InBioparque, seeing crocodiles and then enjoying a 5 star...
