Got to have breakfast with the sloths which was delicious! They had eggs from the chickens on the property, fresh fruit, and rice and beans which were delicious! The sloths were adorable and the monkeys were hilariously awesome! The tour guides were not only knowledgeable but super friendly! Makes me wanna come volunteer down here!

Enjoyed a wonderful "breakfast with the babies" tour in the morning eating breakfast and having them bring out the baby sloths. This Rescue Ranch is beautiful and what they do for the animals is amazing.

We set out to tour Costa Rica to see wildlife and our first two nights were spent at the Toucan Rescue Ranch near San Jose. This is not a zoo but a rehabilitation and rescue centre run as a charity for toucans, owls, hawks etc and a variety of other animals. We saw all but two of the animals on...

My boyfriend and I went on a morning tour of Toucan Rescue Ranch, and we had an excellent time. The ranch is home to so many animals. It's amazing to see them up close and learn about them. Pedro, our guide, was very knowledgeable and funny. Mitch, the sloth dad, also told us all about what it's like to work...

We visited with our grandchildren 16 and 13. We all agreed, being able to see the animals close at hand [no cages] and being able talk to their handlers and see the love and care that is given to them, is thrilling. We seen sloths, anteaters, monkeys, toucans, otters, etc. It is an amazing facility, that is doing good things

This place is just amazing and the work they do to care for rescue birds and other animals is wonderful. You can eat breakfast here while watching the baby sloths have theirs. All the animals and birds are extremely well cared for and loved and if there is any chance of returning animals to the wild this is their goal....

We visited TRR with our three children(6, 7 and 10). They loved meeting the baby sloths and watching them interact with each other! We also loved that the sloths would be released back into the wild! The animals all seemed well taken care of and loved. The breakfast was good, but limited, and we were glad we fed the kids...

The Toucan Rescue Ranch is an experience that teaches visitors about respect for wildlife in Costa Rica. It is a great place to take families to see animals up close. You will learn about why animals and birds need to be rescued and how their release program is getting some of them back into the jungle when possible. Your donation...

Our family of five (kids ages 9, 8, and 4) stopped at Toucan Rescue Ranch they day before we headed for a week in the Osa Peninsula. I’m so glad we went there first because we learned so much about the animals and after hearing the calls of toucans, we were able to spot them in the wild much easier....

This was the most informative and well-run sanctuaries we have seen. Very impressive staff, facilities, and operation. Also very impressed at the number of volunteers from the States were assisting. We were introduced to not only toucans but monkeys, sloths, parrots, as well as a variety of other rescue animals.
