We booked in at 09:45 gave a donation to the Park Warden, we gave ¢4000 for the both of us, which is about £7-8, which I thought was not a lot considering we had to pay $15 each for Tortuguero. He seemed over the moon, then I realised why, when we watched the next three groups hand over a few...

This hotel has A/C and hot water. The bugs aren't going to walk away with your suitcase. The rooms are nice and clean, including a small fridge and tv. Our rooms over looked the corner of Cahuita National Park. The price for room was amazing inexpensive considering it had AC This is the best hotel we stayed in Cahuita I...

This is our second year here and it is ever as chill as could be. Come here if you want be left alone. We sit on the porch, drink our beers and watch the ocean. Period and it couldn't be more perfect. There is a restaurant downstairs that has food, pool and a snickers dispensary (hehe) with the local news...

Stayed here for two weeks. Booking was slightly confusing. I tried to book online but never got any confirmation. When I got through on the telephone I was advised that its peak season and they would get back with confirmation - which they never did. Cahuita is a long way from San Juan and taxi rates are high. We paid...

Maria, the manager, is great! Best spot on the beach and steps away from the national park. Staff is friendly and rooms are comfortable. Good internet connection downstairs and great food and drinks in the bar. The area is busy until 8pm each night then quiets down. Only the sound of wave outside. Great balcony. We spent a week here...

Closest to the beach, to the park, easy walk to coffee, shops, restaurants, inexpensive, restaurant downstairs is good and quiet at night - all you can do is listen to the waves crashing. Upstairs corner room is the best. You can buy excellent pineapple and banana bread from the local guy on the main floor. No bugs, air conditioning and...

Overlooking the scenic cahuita NP and beach, this place is at the entrance to the park and right on the beach. But our bed was uncomfortable and my wife thinks her bites came from bugs in the bed. Maintenance was also shabby and the place lacks the usual cozy common areas found elsewhere in CR. No ambience. On the plus...

I've been going to hotel for over 10 years now. You cant get closer to the park and the beach in front is gorgeous. This is the hotel has: Clean rooms. Basic. Not 500 count bed sheets and smaller than full size towels. But comfortable nonetheless. Hot water (it takes a minute though). Excellent views and many places outside the...

Hotel was on the brink of collaps, everything is falling apart, mould on ceilings and walls, leaking ceilings. My room was flooded with water after tropical rainstorm. Restaurant is very dark and uninviting. Better eat and drink something in the village that is 5 minutes walking distance. Hotel staff not friendly. Location is pertect, meters away from beach and national...

There isn't a better place in the town of Cahuita for a view of the beach. Situated right at the entrance to Cahuita National Park, this informal beach restaurant is a comfortable place to stop no matter if you've just come from the beach and are in your most casual attire. The view is unsurpassed. The menu is typical food...
