My family chose this place based on the reviews and we nailed it! We were looking for a nice, clean, quiet and affordable place and we found more than that. The location is great, near everywhere, the rooms are nice, relaxing, and sorrounded by nature. If you want to explore the caribbean this is a great choice! Franco and Monica... More

The owner is a very nice and welcoming person. The Houses are small but big enough for 4 adults. The Garden was huge and beautiful with a small privat jungle and a Swimmingpool. The location is outside of Cahuita and easy to find. The hammock in front of our house was perfect to watch and listen to all the bird... More

It certainly didnt live up to the TripAdvisor ratings though for the area it is probably average. I would get a higher rated location. Rooms were unimpressive, beds hard. The pool was small and dirty. No ice machines or food on the premises so you have to drive 10 miles for anything. nd they close the gate at 9pm so eat... More

The Costa Azul Lodge is a nice place surrounded by a beautiful garden and the cutest dogs ever. I felt very safe there. The owner even has a private wood in the backyard where you can walk through. My family and I stayed at Costa Azul 2 nights. Since the time we arrived we felt like at home welcome by the owner and his wife. We stayed at one the the private cabins with kitchen and we were trilled. I am a serious birdwatcher and one of the reasons why I made the trip to Cahuita and Puerto... More

The lodge was extremely remote and sat on property full of interesting animals. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It felt like we were home in the tropics. Miss our little hiking buddy! Can't wait to go back!

The staff/ managers were very friendly and helpful throughout the reservation email process. The grounds are beautiful and you get to see and hear many birds, and howler monkeys. There is a small but useful pool which is cool and clean. However, the rooms are quite small with limited space for luggage and for hanging clothes or towels. The air... More
