I am a very frequent traveler, who also loves comfort (a bit spoiled I would even say) thus praise does not come that easily. I stayed at the Beach house for ten days and it was one of (if not "the") most magical travel experiences I have ever had. It is a true combination of authentic, stylish jungle luxury. And that does not mean that you should expect five-star hotel amenities, but it is the perfect borderline of authenticity and lux. The beautiful kitchen that opens straight to the jungle, the sound of the ocean from your upstairs bedroom. Hawler monkey calling you to take the short 50m walk to the most romantic hideaway beach for your morning meditation. Or afternoon snorkel marveling the fishes in your own backyard. I even spotted a sloth and her tiny baby roaming around a tree at the beach! The hot tub itself is an experience - they will heat it up half a day and then you will just bathe in the middle of the dark jungle with fireflies lighting up the surrounding. This place was a true gem. One of the owners is a yoga teacher and you even have yoga classes basically in your backyard. I very highly recommend this place. I do recommend having a car though as it is about 15min drive to Puerto Viejo.

It's a great property, right on the beach and close to a lot of things. For what it was, I think it's a bit overpriced, especially compared to what is nearby. We wanted the funky aspect though and were excited to try something unique, but sadly we were let down. Although the other properties looked cool, we opted for the Garden House and wish we hadn't. It's old and weird, without being fun or funky. It's tiny and the pictures make it look a lot better than it is. The rooms barely fit your stuff, the stairs are super narrow, daily rodent droppings on the table outside, the only shower is outside in an open bathroom with little privacy... They did change our towels each day, but otherwise there wasn't much service available. They had a yoga hut that was obviously run by and for locals, with the 1-2 classes each day taught in Spanish. We had to unlock and open the gate to our side of the property each time we left and were only given 1 key which made it difficult for our party of 3 to split up at all. They should just deeply discount this house because it was a lot more hassle than it was worth.

We planned to stay three nights at the Beach House, but luckily there was room to add another night so we ended up staying four incredible nights in that beautiful wooden cabin right next the beach (80m). Every day we fell more in love with this place. Having all luxury of a king sized bed, enormous bathroom, comfortable kitchen and last but not least, a hot tub filled with spring water and heated by a cozy fireplace made us feel in heaven. The beach is stunning and closeby at walking distance (in Punta Uva) you can snorkel from shore. We can't wait to go back because of our two week vacation, this place was our absolute favorite. A big thank you to Edsart,Pamela and the staff for their hospitality.

We spent two nights in the beach house and three nights in the tree house. Both are unique and very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. We spent time walking the beach, looking for animals, and relaxing. We had a great time!

We have been to Costa Rica 7 times the this was by far one of our absolute favorite places. We stayed in the Beach House for over a week and our vacation could not be more perfect. There is abuntant wildlife on the grounds, the walk to the beach is about a minute from the house and the staff is amazing. The house was cleaned every day and it is only a short walk to some restaurants or you can bike or drive to those farther. The beach is rocky with some pools to swim in. If you prefer waves, Punta Uva Beach is just a short walk away or you can go to one of many other close beaches. This was like a second honeymoon for my husband and me. The peace, tranquility, and beauty allowed us to reconnect as a couple. I would highly recommend this place and any one of its houses for an absolutely perfect vacation.

dear Guest: we are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay so much. The house you describe is build far out in a corner of our 10 acre ocean front property at only 50 meters from the sea. The unique thing of this house is not just the architecture, but also its location. your privacy here is absolutely amazing at the Beach House. we are very happy to read you experienced the same thing. we look forward to welcome you on your 8th trip to Costa Rica again. many regards from the Tree House team.
